The following was the winning entry from an annual
contest calling for the most appropriate definition of a
contemporary term. This year's term: "Political Correctness".
'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a
delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean
end'.

Republican definition of "support the troops": Send our fine young men and women to fight in another country's civil war and when they are injured, dump them in a roach and rat infested facility where they get little or no treatment.

LOL!!!!
Oh....but CLINTON ....so now it's perfectly acceptable to the righties to have substandard care for the troops they SAY they support because...."Oh....but CLINTON"

Is Clinton the reason for the appalling treatment our troops are getting in Walter Reed and who knows what other facilities?

And here we have coincoach again - asking more questions....but never answering those put to her.
tsk tsk tsk
edited to add:
coincoach has now started copying sybil's bad habit of taking one topic to any thread she feels like discussing it in.
tsk tsk
This was already mentioned in the thread she was so busy complaining about me not being willing to address what she wanted me to....when she didn't address the thread topic AT ALL.

Linda, Your convoluted mind is truly amazing. Bear posted about a contest on the definition of political correctness, which ragged on liberals. I posted my own definition in response. You were the one who brought up Clinton. And---there you go with your hyperbole again. It is either always or never with you. Never means not ever, not once, not at any time, no way Jose. Are you kidding me? Not that I have to explain to you, but I usually answer most questions put to me. However, if I do not want to answer, I don't.
posted on February 22, 2007 07:13:31 PM new
Same with a lot of posters....but then they don't continue BADGERING posters for NOT addressing what THEY want to discuss....like YOU did.
posted on February 22, 2007 07:38:13 PM new
Linda, Badgering? Your paranoia is showing. I responded to each of your posts questioning my motives in criticizing another poster. I wouldn'r waste my time badgering you. First you say I NEVER answer any questions, but when I respond to your posts, you accuse me of badgering. Make up your troubled mind.
posted on February 22, 2007 07:59:50 PM new
yes, coincoach.....BADGERING me to address what you REPEATED at least FOUR times.....what was frustrating YOU, as you said, because I chose NOT to address your whining about quartermass.
I hate to inform you but stating the TRUTH of what you were continually repeating does not make me paranoid. LOL LOL LOL
posted on February 22, 2007 08:16:42 PM newAnd here we have coincoach again - asking more questions....but never answering those put to her.
There was not one single question that was asked before coincoach said this: Is Clinton the reason for the appalling treatment our troops are getting in Walter Reed and who knows what other facilities?
Linda, do you know the difference between a sentence and a question? Are you that stupid?
Linda_K: What is she thinking?
Linda_K wrong about Bush, wrong about the war, just plain wrong in general.

Linda, I never asked you to address anything. That is purely your imagination or lack of reading skills. I do not need any validation from you for my opinions. If there was any badgering done, it was by you. You repeatedly questioned my motivation for saying what I did about Quatermass. My mistake is bothering to answer you. If you want to defend a moron whose only contribution to a thread is to accuse all Democrats of being baby rapers (what a brilliant and profound statement) have fun. I can put the shoe on the other foot. You only defend him because he is a neocon like you.
posted on February 22, 2007 08:30:35 PM new
I believe it is YOU who is in DENIAL, coincoach. You repeated at LEAST four times that I was 'picking and choosing' what I addressed from your posts.
You CAN'T deny that...it's there for all to read.
No problem with my reading ability....you were upset that I wouldn't address what you continually kept repeating about quartermass.
And I didn't 'defend' his statement about baby killers....I explained that at LEAST twice, by stating I didn't agree with his 'delivery'. Then I posted how ***I*** saw the OPINION that he expressed and compared it to MY OWN.
The fact that you can' grasp that....is YOUR problem. And it appears to be a brain malfunction that most liberals here suffer from. They read something....then add their OWN words to it...and then lol lol lol accuse me of posting something I NEVER said.
Again....maybe you can show me where I posted ANYTHING about 'baby killers'. You CAN'T....because it's only in a couple of liberal minds...that aren't functioning properly.
posted on February 22, 2007 08:44:36 PM new
A vile message was posted and you said you agreed with it, Lindak. Now when you're asked to explain yourself you are all over the place denying that you said it. Either you agreed with it or you lied when you said you did. Make up your mind and quit trying to blame everyone else.
posted on February 22, 2007 08:58:03 PM new
Again, re-read the post Linda. Quatermass said BABY RAPERS, BABY RAPERS, not baby killers. Jeez!
I never asked you to address anything. I merely stated I found it difficult to communicate with you. You repeatedly tried to tell me what I meant by my post and I repeatedly told you what I did mean.

LOL.....it's there for all to read.

And I THINK this thread has proven the point:
'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end'.

Yes, it is there for all to read. Plain as day. No badgering, except by you. Too bad you can't read the difference between BABY RAPER AND BABY KILLER.
By the way, you say all liberals are delusional--what do you call someone who thinks all Democrats are BABY RAPERS?

You've made it QUITE clear that you disagreed with my calling you and the profe on your 'double standards'.
You've made it quite clear that you are upset by what quartermass posted. lol
And you don't like the fact that QM posted their opinion. lol
TOO BAD....thats your problem. They're able to post here just like you are.
And I'm the one that said 'baby murderer/baby killer/' because thats what MOST liberals support.....as I already mentioned.
IF you don't like the opinions of others..lol lol..maybe someone can direct you to your 'ignore' button.
posted on February 22, 2007 09:35:15 PM new
You are such a smartass, Linda. You know damn well Quatermass said baby raper and you switched it to baby killers. You tried to make it into an abortion issue after the fact and then accuse liberals of being baby killers. You said, 'And I'm the one that said 'baby murderer/baby killer/' because thats what MOST liberals support.....as I already mentioned" Who cares what you said. I only talked about what Quatermass said. It is not all about you, my dear. If you consider his post a valid political opinion, then you are truly disturbed. That was the kind of statement you hear from 15 year olds in the school yard and is about as much of a political statement as "neener, neener, neener."
By the way, the only thing we agree on is that anyone can post their opinion. Yes, good old Freedom of Speech.

To clarify, for the LAST TIME I hope.
quartermass used the word raper.
I used the word baby killers.
And for someone who 'doesn't care'....lol you sure have wasted a bunch of bandwidth.
And maybe you might want to read our constitution....where it speaks about 'freedom of speech'.
It's not JUST for liberals.
All have the SAME right to post their opinions as you do....even when you don't like it.
"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"
"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

Here's something I keep noticing on some of these tiresome threads.
Someone (a pinko liberal, no doubt?!) starts a thread about a current problem in the U.S. or abroad.
Someone else (a neocon, no doubt) brings up CLINTON, JANE FONDA, JOHN KERRY, ETC.
But I do NOT see the Democrats doing the same thing. Maybe I'm not seeing it all, but my impression is that we tend to stay on topic. It's weak-minded thinking to do the little-kid playground stuff, guys.

Well then roadsmith, imo, you've just MISSED their posts.
Secondly I'd say that part of the reason you don't see them blaming republicans for being un-American....is because there aren't as many as there are current liberal leaders who are working for our FAILURE in Iraq.
Read their posts....an clear thinking person can see they WANT us to FAIL. Why? Imo, because their hatred of this President runs SO DEEPLY....that's the way they choose to vent.
"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"
"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."
"Maybe I'm not seeing it all, but my impression is that we tend to stay on topic."
edited again to have you review THIS thread. The topic was Political correctness....but it quickly was taken off topic....and our troops and their care was brought up.
Do you just choose to overlook how often your side takes threads off topic?
Because it's done in almost EVERY thread.
Guess this means I also disagree with your 'take' on who stays on topic and who doesn't. LOL LOL LOL

Linda_K, you have a desire to control how others post here and you battle with them constantly so I can understand that you share your leader's desire for world domination as he is also a wimpy bully and coward who tries to battle with others.
You will never have control over the way others choose to randomly post on this board and your leader will never dominate the world. Face it, you both lost long ago and you've both been exposed for who you truly are.

I'm not twisting anything, Linda_K.
She can't even grasp that it was roadsmith that was stating a FALSEHOOD. And I corrected her.
Roadsmith stated her observation so she was not stating a falsehood (which is your kinder way of calling someone a liar once again).
Which begs the question.......... why do you choose to stay here and post with those who you classify as a bunch of lying, immoral, lazy-ass, baby killing, baby murdering and baby raping bastards who only take from society when you could be posting alongside your vulgar mouthed, racist, homophobic, war mongering and Bush-loving friends who you so enjoy and seem to have much more in common with?

kiara states:
"Roadsmith stated her observation so she was not stating a falsehood (which is your kinder way of calling someone a liar once again)."
Of course she did. And she was WRONG....it's just not true. Her 'observations' aren't correct.
she said: "But I do NOT see the Democrats doing the same thing. Maybe I'm not seeing it all, but my impression is that we tend to stay on topic. It's weak-minded thinking to do the little-kid playground stuff, guys."
And I pointed out how VERY WRONG she was.
Even gave her a chance to see that coincoach FIRST took THIS thread off topic....and the three page thread not ONE liberal addressed the thread topic.
