Tokyo Rose During World War II -- the Japanese developed a way to demoralize the American forces.
Psychological warfare experts developed a message they felt would work. They gave the script to their famous broadcaster "Tokyo Rose" and every day she would broadcast this same message packaged in different ways, hoping it would have a negative impact on American GI's morale.
She had the best music on her station and most people just laughed.
What was that demoralizing message? It had three main points:
1. Your President is lying to you.
2. This war is illegal.
3. You cannot win the war.
Does this sound familiar?
Is it because Tokyo Hillary, Tokyo Harry, Tokyo John, Tokyo Teddy, Tokyo Nancy,
Have all picked up the same message and are broadcasting it on
Tokyo CNN, Tokyo ABC, Tokyo CBS, Tokyo NBC, to our troops?
The only difference is that they claim to support our troops before they demoralize them.
Come to think of it, Tokyo Rose told the troops she was on their side, too!
from a email I received today.

More WW-2 History? Go back to the French/Indian war you will find propaganda there also.
Your lesson for today get yourself a good multi band radio and listen to the American radio stations aimed at CUBA and then listen to the Cuban radio aimed at the U.S.
I think the American stations are still there if BUSHY hasn't cut funding for them to pay the rich that is.
If still there you will better understand propaganda. With practice and sticking to your guns you might even be able to distinguish the truth from fiction. MAYBE??

It is sad, bear, how many progressive liberals do JUST the SAME thing.
And yet they appear to truly believe they support our troops.
Aiding and abetting our enemies is not what the general public want to see.
They're tired of this war....and if we were having MORE success they'd be backing this President like they did before.
But our troops ARE doing the best they can....and now it appears with these new changes....we just might have a chance at doing better.
But what are the wimps/cowards calling for? Us to admit defeat. And they believe our soldiers are going to see THAT nonsense as SUPPORT? NO WAY!!! Imo, it just shows how VERY out of touch with reality they really are.
All I can say is I'm THRILLED that their party is divided enough....that their party CAN'T get enough support to stop funding our troops.....nor enough to pull out asap. And that we have a President that doesn't CARE how unpopular he is. He KNOWS he's doing all he can to help Iraq establish security themselves.

"While the democratic party complains about everything THIS President does to protect our Nation": "What would a Democrat president have done at that point?"
"Apparently, the answer is: Sit back and wait for the next terrorist attack."

Ever notice how it's always the right wing forwards that are always clogging your inbox? These people have too much time on their hands. Don't any of them work for a living?

Most of them do not, but yet some of them want their social security benefits to be passed along to their children because they think they earned that right. It is funny they want this but yet they criticize all those that want welfare.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. More of the "stay the course" propaganda that the governement seems to believe in. They have no back up plan if the "surge" does not produce results.
