It's a small poll....but I agree with the writer in that I'm looking forward to when some THROUGH questions are asked of all candidates running for the WH.

That old hillary doesn't get to decide WHAT will or won't be asked.

Or that posters here who continue to tell me THEIR administration is in the past and shouldn't be discussed.

Nope....still VERY relevant

Nearly Half of Voters Concerned About Clinton Corruption

A new poll conducted by Judicial Watch found that more than six years after the end of the Clinton administration, many likely voters are still concerned about Hillary and Bill Clintons ethics.

Among the findings of the survey of 1,039 respondents conducted March 22 - 26 in partnership with Zogby International:

Overall, 26 percent of likely voters are "very concerned" and 19 percent are "somewhat concerned" there will be "high levels of corruption in the White House" if Hillary is elected president.

The figures include nearly one in five Democrats (18.8 percent).

42 percent of likely voters describe Hillary Clinton as "very corrupt" (17 percent) or "somewhat corrupt" (25 percent), including 21.2 percent of the Democrats likely to vote.

36 percent of likely voters agree with the statement: "If Hillary Clinton is elected president, Bill Clinton cannot be trusted to behave honestly in the White House."

69 percent strongly agree with the statement that "corruption is a significant problem in Washington." An additional 24 percent "somewhat agree."

Given the public concern demonstrated by these results, the media and other public policy leaders have a responsibility to ask tough questions of Hillary Clinton about her role in the various Clinton scandals," said Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch Inc., a conservative, non-partisan foundation promoting accountability in government.

"These issues can't be off limits just because Hillary Clinton says they're off limits. And frankly, the same goes for John McCain, Barack Obama, Rudy Giuliani and any other candidate with ethical skeletons in their closet.

"Judicial Watch does not oppose or endorse candidates for public office, but we do have the right to look at their past behavior and to demand they be held accountable for it[/i]."

That means that 55% are not concerned. What % are Republican?

69 percent strongly agree with the statement that "corruption is a significant problem in Washington." An additional 24 percent "somewhat agree."

That means 93% think there is corruption in Washington---ahem that is where George Bush presently works.

LOL.....we see once again that mingotree/crowfarm/sybil just has NEVER been able to grasp my oft stated position on polls.

See...and nothings changed. LOL

=========

As I said, CC, my point in posting this poll....was to point out to posters like ld's that VOTERS still are remembering the clinton corruption and ARE concerned about it.....and want that and all ethical related issues to be discussed.

Rather than him and his ilk telling me to quit bring the subject up.

Also...the poll doesn't appear to have ask how many might be a tiny bit concerned they'll repeat their corruption IF hillary should be elected.

Wasn't that one of GWB's 2000 campaign platforms to clean up the White House.

It doesn't surprise that Bush was not able to follow through on that.

NEWSFLAH Linda, Bear brought up this so called poll a couple of weeks back. Where were you then? Is your memory getting that bad that you don't remember?

Whether you like it or not, ld, the clinton administrations corruption WILL be addressed during this campaign. Why? Because SHE is running for the WH and she was unusually involved in what when on there...they were 'co-presidents'. lol

Did you forget clinton said we got 'two for the price of one'?

At most every turn in the road....old hillary sees how support for her as CIC just isn't there.

Maybe because they're going to throw their support behind obama or another dem in the running???

Hillary Has One Senate Endorsement

Sen. Hillary Clinton is said to be among the hardest working and most respected senators, so say the media spinmeisters.

But so far, Sen. Clinton has won the endorsement of just one senatorial colleague in her bid to run for president, according to The Hill newspaper.

The lone Clinton supporter is, not surprisingly, Sen. Charles Schumer, her fellow Democrat from New York.

Hillary has also won the endorsement of 26 members of House of Representatives. But here's another interesting factoid:

of the 26 House members backing Clinton, all but five are from her home state of New York.

Despite being the Democratic front-runner, the Democratic establishment appears timid in embracing Sen. Clinton early.

Even her home state governor, Democrat Eliot Spitzer, has yet to endorse her.

Ditto Democratic congressional players. They are keeping their cards close to the vest.

Nine of Sen. Barack Obama's 12 congressional backers are from his home state, Illinois,

and eight of John Edwards' 14 supporters are from his home state of North Carolina.
