Or, what happens when great wealth happens to people with no taste or morals. I can't count the number of times "they" stood before our city council and lied. We just reminded each other, before the vote, that if their lips are moving, they're lying. We learned that the hard way, after a couple of years for each of us on the council of actually believing the lies.

Roady - that is the most ridiculous looking abomination I have ever seen. The pic in the article reminds me more of the hillside shanty towns that crop up on the outskirts of Tijuana before the rain season that of a multi million dollar home. Is it really that heinous looking when you get the whole picture?
It's one thing to completely ignore every restriction put on you in terms of space, but to completely ignore the the common sense restrictions that come with applying good taste and aesthetics is a whole nother matter.
Ewwwww!

I have to admit with all the stuff the dude has
its nice to be rich
However, read the below paragraph...
Jim Ferguson, the mayor, sided with Hagadone. "You seem like an honorable guy," Ferguson told the publisher. "You've worked well with us, and you didn't do anything that we didn't tell you you couldn't do."
"The outrage crescendoed last summer when city officials discovered that Hagadone had graded 64,000 square feet — double what the city had approved"
He didnt do anything he wasnt supposed to do??
Hey ya think any kickbacks were involved??? ROFLMAO!

Yes, it's horridly ridiculous. As a friend once said, it's their money and they can do what they want with it, but it shows a real lack of imagination.
40,000+ feet for a retired couple? Do they hate each other that much and need to get as far away as possible?!
It reflects sunlight in many directions, into others' windows. It's an abomination--and probably now will become a tourist attraction, unfortunately.
Yes, I believe palms were greased.
It's just down the highway 35 minutes from Idyllwild, so I'll take a look next time I have to drive to Palm Desert et al.

With all of the earthquakes that they have in Califoria, he just wanted to get a headstart. Now when the big one hits, even if no damage occurs at his place, they will come looking for him anyway.

If it's called common sense, why do so few Demomorons have it?

Heaven forbid anyone mentions John Edwards little shack in NC.
Or his $400 haircuts.

LOL Bear.....EXACTLY what I was thinking as I read roadsmiths 'do they need to get that far away from one another?'
Just another double standard from a liberal....nothing more.
