produced by the BBC, it's in 4 parts, each 20-25 minutes long. I'm watching the first part now, so far it's worth every minute.

Throughout history leaders have manufactured enemies and manipulated precipitating events to justify war. Someone posted an interesting thread a few years ago about this deceit called "It's The Oldest Trick in The Book."

Starting with our Founding Fathers, helen?????

According to you....all that is necessary is using diplomacy.

Should our forefathers have used more of that technique? Did they FAIL to use enough diplomacy with England according to you, helen?

How has diplomacy helped Israel against her muslim enemies?

How has diplomacy helped stop IRAN from building it's NW program????

After all...many, many nations have TRIED diplomacy with them.

It HASN'T worked. For YEARS.

How long has Bush been using dimplomacy in dealing with Iran and North Korea in regards to their nuclear weapons program?

About 5 years.

Then Linda claims Clinton did to much talking (dimplomacy) in delaing with Iraq and Al-Qaeda. Typical hypocraite.

Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

The duty of a patriot in this time and place is to ask questions, to demand answers, to understand where our nation is headed and why. If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'
