Listening to the video of hillary going on and on about IF this same thing were happening in the white community, as it is in the black community, the public would be OUTRAGED.
Problem is liberals can't see beyond their noses, imo. The problem that should be looked at/ needs to be addressed is WHY this is happening more in their community than in the white community.
Could it be, and I personally believe it IS, because they make different lifestyle choices? Could it be they choose to use drugs more than white? Maybe.
But to become so enraged about this happening in the black community I think the liberals only need to look to the MORALS of those who are contacting the HIV/AIDS disease before they RANT about why it's not so prevalent in the white community.
tsk tsk tsk. Boy this election cycle the liberals sure are using RACE for everything. EVERYTHING. The USSC ruling that they can't use race to decided where children will be placed in school, the immigration problem that our nation's faced for GENERATIONS....and now more division because there is SOME BIG difference between this happening more in the black community....lol...everything.
They need to get off the 'race' division. They're just causing MORE racial tension between the races.
Think of people as people....not blacks, whites, hispanics and do what's right for a change - for the people....not their RACE. But it sure appears the liberals/dems are PITTING the white race against any other race....just to get votes.

A Democrat's Distortions Go Utterly Uncorrected

What happens when prominent Democrats make outrageous and racist mistakes? Will mainstream media take the trouble to correct their howlers?
In Thursday night’s Presidential debate from Howard University, former Senator Mike Gravel delivered an opening statement that declared, in part: “One of the areas that touches me the most and engages me the most is our war on drugs that this country has been putting forth for the last generation. In 1972, we had 179,000 human beings in jail in this country. Today it’s 2.3 million and seventy percent of them are Black African Americans.”
For the rest of the evening, none of the candidates or commentators bothered to correct Gravel’s repulsive over-statement – by a factor of nearly two-to-one ---of the rates of black incarceration. Even worse, I’m not aware of any media outlet (other than the Michael Medved Radio Show on Friday) that took the trouble to set the record straight.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice and its Bureau of Justice Statistics (accepted by everyone as the nation’s most authoritative sources for numbers on crime), “at yearend 2005 black inmates represented an estimated 40% of all inmates with a sentence of more than 1 year, while white inmates accounted for 35% and Hispanic inmates, 20%.”
More precisely, BJS numbers for 2005 (the most recent figures available) show blacks representing 39.5% of federal or state prisoners—not the 70% referenced by Senator Gravel. Moreover, the total number of prisoners came to 1,362,500 – not the “2.3 million” mentioned by the Presidential candidate.
Why does this matter? After all, Mike Gravel is merely a fringe candidate with no prospect of victory.
It matters because he used his phony numbers to convey the invidious message that racism remains a dominant force in American life.
In truth, the percentage of prisoners from the African American community has gone DOWN dramatically in recent years, not up. In 1995, 45.6% of state and federal prisoners were black. In 2005, the percentage had declined to 39.5.
None of this indicates that the problem of inner city criminality has disappeared. But it does suggest the sort of improvement that Senator Gravel – and other liberals – stubbornly refuse to acknowledge.
And there’s an equally stubborn refusal from mainstream media outlets to correct a Democratic Presidential candidate – even when he’s engaged in a gross distortion of the truth in front of a national television audience.
