It was on this day Ted Kennedy allowed a woman to drown in the back of his car while this "Lion of the Senate," this coward flopped around on a muddy bank trying to figure out how to save his political career.
He is a coward, an elitest parasite and an embarrassment to our nations history.

Yep, and to me that sadly speaks to the character of those who have continued to keep him in the senate.
Just like the traitor kerry. How creeps like these stay in their positions has to be out of ignorance of those who vote for them. Either that or they share the same lack of moral/ethical values.

I will not have Teddy defamed. He was NOT COWERING on the beach! He was passed out drunk, dad gummit!
Under the circumstances, the Kopechne's made out all right. Teddy got a pass but at least they got a few mil and he became unelectable except to twits in MA. So they took a bullet for all of us.
When my cousin was going to FIT in NY the local bar was Teddy's favorite place. A US senator with a bunch of guards to help him off the floor or pull him off the better looking (female, at least) students.

I never looked at it that way. But you're right...it did save us from having the drunkard run and possibly be elected President by all those liberals who don't care what the morals/ethics/character of their leaders are like.
Over the years I had often wondered if his obsessive drinking was a result of the death he caused and the cover up. I also had no doubt that his wife's drinking was related to being married to such a jerk. Joan was smart to have escaped from him.

Ug, YES it did - one who can't deal in reality.
One stopped drinking decades ago. Sobered up...and it wasn't kennedy. He's so bloated he's soon apt to be like a hot-air balloon....and go up on his own gas.
That YOU don't have the ability to grasp the difference comes as NO surprise.
