July 17: Democratic presidential candidate and former Sen. John Edwards speaks with reporters in July, after touring a Cleveland neighborhood during his three-day poverty tour.
DES MOINES, Iowa - Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, who has called homeownership "the foundation of the American dream," said Friday he will divest his holdings in funds linked to lenders that have foreclosed on Hurricane Katrina victims.
"I will not have my family's money involved in these firms that are foreclosing on people in New Orleans," he told the Associated Press.
Edwards has reported $29.5 million in assets, millions of which are invested in the hedge fund Fortress Investment Group., a company that paid him nearly half a million dollars last year for consulting advice.

So, he will NOT have HIS money involved with firms foreclosing on people in N.O.
But what about all the OTHER lenders he's got his money invested in that are foreclosing on the homes of all the OTHER Americans? Are THEY not as 'special' as the Katrina victims? LOL LOL LOL
He'll do anything to score points with the liberals. They're easily fooled.
And meanwhile his WIFE is still attacking his running mates. I think they're playing 'good cop, bad cop'. He's trying to convince voters he's doing such 'nice' things....while he sends his sick and dying wife out to do his dirty work for him....attacking the other liberals.

LOL The edwards campaign must be short on funds again - maybe part of why they pulled out of Las Vegas - so now he's trying to stir things up with Ann Coulter again. Then he'll have another excuse to start crying, whining and making pleas to his supporters to send him more money because Ann was being mean TO HIM. lol
Meanwhile, his dear, sweet wife is continuing to throw verbal punches at his liberal running mates. What a pair they make. lol
