What's next? Maybe they will allow animals to legally wed. What is the world coming to Let's hope Arkansas doesn't become the baby marriage capital. LOL LOL LOL
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Thanks to one little misplaced word, it appears that people of any age can legally be married in Arkansas, with parental consent.
Lawmakers say a law passed this year would even allow infants to be married if their parents agree. And that may force the governor to call a special session to fix the mistake.
The bill's sponsor says the legislation was intended to establish 18 as the minimum age to marry — but also let pregnant teenagers marry with parental consent.
An extraneous "not" in the bill, however, allows anyone who is not pregnant to marry at any age if the parents allow it.
A commission that fixes typographical and technical errors in laws had tried to correct the mistake, but a group of legislators argued that the commission went beyond its powers.
The Legislature is not scheduled to meet again until January — of 2009.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.

If the answers you get do not suit you, or if they frighten you, or if they anger you, it is your duty as a patriot to dissent. Freedom does not begin with blind acceptance and with a flag. Freedom begins when you say 'No.'

Arkansas governor set to endorse Clinton
Clinton set to receive endorsement on Monday.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe will endorse Hillary Clinton, a former Arkansas first lady, next week in her bid for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, sources said Friday.
Sources close to Clinton's campaign told The Associated Press that Beebe would make the announcement at an event Monday in the state Capitol. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity to avoid pre-empting Beebe's public announcement.
Clinton has already won the backing of top Democrats in Arkansas, where her husband Bill Clinton served 12 years as governor before beginning two terms as president in 1993.

Who is "he"? The current Ark. governor?
If you're talking about Pres. Clinton, who cares? He's not running for office, and you should have said his main political contributors were....

In other words, let me explain it to you.
Linda posted that the governor of Arkansas was going to endorse Chillery.
I posted: Oh well, from a governor born to a waitress who never met his father.
All true.
In other words an insult. You should regognize those since you do it with every breath.

SCUMBAG.
Or per your suggestion: DRUNKEN SCUMBAG """
HeeHee! I'm so happy to see you don't use insults like I do LOL!
Quit begging for a beer , just have one...they're in your fridge.
Yes, I know you were talking about the governor I just have no idea what his parents have to do with his support for Hillary Clinton ?????
Waitress's children are ineligible to be governors???
To be governor your parents have to be married?
Why would having a waitress for a mother be an insult?

"Yes, I know you were talking about the governor..."
Then why did you ask:
"What? What does that sentence mean or pertain to? "
Nope no beer in my fridge. I live in a dry county, which means that I have to drive 40 miles to buy. But there are 72 legal private clubs in the county to have a mixed drink or a beer, with free admission. Now that makes sense doesn't it. Another example of government interference through idiotic laws.

Your drinking habits and those of other Texans hold no interest for me ....why don't you answer the questions ?????

mingo, let's add this to the reason for no beers in my fridge. Another idiotic law. That's why I don't want the government in my life in any way.
From the law:
"You can bring liquor into a dry county for private consumption but if you possess more than 24 beers or 1 quart of liquor in a dry county, you could be cited for "intent to distribute."

Your questions are not going to be answered, because you already know the answers. The post was made as an insult to the governor of Arkansas. The drift of it is that anyone who would endorse Chillery is a stupid bastard.

BoY! You sure love insulting people!!! Even the ones you don't know. Even when there's no cause for an insult. Even their mothers !!!
Why didn't you just call him a stupid bastard instead of looking like sexist backwoods neanderthal ???
So you're mad at the government because you can't distribute booze ....

Hmmm, I guess, I am learning from you, the insult queen. You sure do love insulting people!! Let's see, me, as soon as I posted on return, anyone who disagrees with you on this board, the President of the US, any Republican, the Congress and anyone else your little mind can think of. You were doing it long before I came back, and will continue to do it as long as you breathe. BTW, the insult was against the governor, not his mother. Please take that reading comprehension course.
