The liberal schtick is really hysterical. The other night I was watching Bill Maher's show (You know, the only place you can get the latest black "gangsta" rapper's theories of world politics) and Tim Robbins was on. Every time they asked the conservative spokesman something, he would reply with facts and figures supplied by our gov, foreign intelligence agencies, etc, etc. Robbins would scream the guy down, chanting over and over again how "no matter how many times you say it, it doesn't make it true". But of course, his drivel (ie: his "theories" had no such back up. You see this over and over again. The "balanced" show has some conservative analyst and 5 of the most moronic whack job liberals you can find.
I have to go back now and check on Mos Def's plan to get us out of Iraq.

Aren't 97% of Iraqis Muslim? Since you've shown your contempt almost daily here for all Muslims and not just the Muslim terrorists, Lindak, please explain to me why you support and encourage more American troops sacrificing their own lives to save them and give them their freedom?
Meantime some of these same Muslims are being forced out of their own country and are on the move all over the world and some are upset about Bush invading and wrecking their homeland.
Lindak, since you hate and fear all of them so much, are you comfortable that more will now be coming to your country? You would now prefer them as a fellow citizen than the young American man or woman you eagerly sent over there to be slaughtered to bring them their freedom?

So now that we've established that I'm seldom here, that I can get caught up and post in mere minutes while you make it your daily work project, perhaps we can get back to the more important gist of this.
Please answer my questions and show me your true position.
Say you had excellent neighbors you cared about and the young man went to war in Iraq with your encouragement and was then killed and his wife and kids had to move to another place so she could find work to support them.
And next thing a Muslim family from Iraq moved in and they were your new neighbors.
Would you be bringing them a house-warming gift? Would you be happy and trust them to become just as good neighbors as the last ones? Would the exchange be worth it in your mind and would you be willing to learn about their culture? Or would you be suspicious of them? What if they spread the word and wanted more Iraqi families to settle in the same area and your government approved it? What if you were surrounded by them? Would you protest? Would you move?

Who cares about Iraqis? (see Darfur). We are in Iraq because strategically it is the most important part of the planet for the entire West. The "saving of Iraqis" is merely a side benefit and something easy for the simplistic to understand. If you find this confusing or "outrageous", I can clarify.
And while it may make Kiara feel good in referring to "Muslims" in terms recalling our Ellis Island past, the simple truth is that being "Muslim" is 100% incompatible with western beliefs.
