Can we have some fun with the election and post our best guesstimates of the final electoral college count, the final percentage of the popular vote, and of the total post-election Senate and House counts? It would be fun to do this starting and ending on Nov. 3. The prize? Bragging rights as being either the most acute poll watcher or the luckiest.

Sounds good to me. Betcha the McCain supporters won't join though, unless of course they really believe the election's stll a horse race.

I usually read the Volokh blog to remind myself that not all conservatives are raving lunatics. In this discussion most admit that it's no horse race.

OK, I'm ready now. Obama 348-378 votes. There aren't enough undecided voters to make a difference, and McCain's sure not going to sway any Democrats at this late date.
