Tonight we watched last night's two shows (Wed. night's) on tape. Both shows were among the best we've ever seen of these fellows. And the way Jon explained the bailout etc. was clear as could be.
A lot of things on those two shows left me just gobsmacked, as though we'd tuned in to Ripley's Believe It or Not.

The Thursday night Stewart episode was a real tour de force. Jon began without the usual opening stuff and WAS Glenn Beck for about the first half of his show--words, phrasing, gestures, everything. We think he deserves an Emmy for that. If you're interested (and I know not everyone here would be), go to the show on the web and take a look. It was almost uncanny how he did it.
