Before we give a 10 count to the RT, say our adieus, turn out the lights and quietly close the door?

This used to be a lively and boisterous place, sometimes a little too lively but it does need to pick back up. Where are all the fun people with a bone to pick or a joke to share?

I wonder if some of our former participants are now chatting on other sites, like Facebook, MySpace, etc.

Oh my! A wink of approval without serious intent leads a woman with a difficult and irritable disposition to conclude that someone should head for a room!

By the way, Pixiamom, the original intent and success of this forum was delightfully implemented for years by members who paid no fee; just as valuable selling information continues to be provided on Ebay Outlook by members who pay no fee.

It appears that you are alone with your wish to be locked in a closed room with your preferred, fee paying society.

I was just an occasional poster - but I haven't moved to myspace or facebook and I don't intend to.

I lurk quite a bit on the MSN money boards.

As to profe's original question, I believe it's already dead. This is the wake. Or to stay with the boxing metaphor - the bout is over and this is the post match commentary.

Cherishedclutter, you were one of the best "occasional users" here. Social networking sites don't interest me either but I do have an interest in Ebay Outlook. Hope you continue posting there.

Pixiamom, Good decision to remove that post in its entirety.

So inapposite...kozersky

Reminds me of a late night trip to an ice cream parlor near closing time. One employee, when he saw our group enter, yelled KILL the lights! My friend said, oh don't kill the lights...just turn them off.

I think all is very good here.

I do wish someone would write a poem or tell a joke.

I LOVE the round table. Every time I visited when it was inhabited,I got very muntant intelligence accusations flung my way.
It never failed a poster would say I was really someone else????? I never did quite get that.Guess I am just not as smart as they are.
Been here since 1999,same name, yet every time some loopy goosey gord head would say I was some one else.

Yep, this was a great place and still is.

Yep, it will not be long until someone will post pages of stuff from an article that supports their tribe's creed.
This place used to full of those post siting their spin on the world.

The round table was full of wantabe knights. Now it is so pleasant.

The problem, deur1, is that a too "pleasant" environment may lead to boredom...and suggestions to "kill the lights".
