I'm wondering if any of you watched the debate tonight between the Vice President candidates and got the feeling that either of them would make a better President than who we will elect.

I was very impressed with both of them.

I think they should be the ones running for president and the other two take the V.P. position.

They both spoke with knowledge, sincerity and presence. Big difference from last week.

I'm happy it wasn't all in my mind.

I feel better that, if Bush should get elected (God forbid), and there's a crisis, he can go down the hall and ask Cheney what to do.

I agree... they both handled themselves extremely well and I was impressed by both. They were civil, even friendly and no daggers... what a pleasant surprise given the politics of politics today!

And yes, a Cheney/Bush ticket sounds MUCH more palatable than a Bush/Cheney ticket.
