By the way...when was the last time anyone saw Dick Cheney? You know, the guy who would be president should Bush win and not be able to complete his term. 
He has declined every invite to the Today show since July.

I think Gore put the final nail in his coffin this week, and drove away more Liberals, when one of his staffers started the "Nader is gay" rumor. What in goddess' name are these people thinking?

Hi Jules!
I am really so unhappy about the choices, I'm only going to make it to the polls by sheer force of will. If this is the best our two parties can offer...we are in dire need of a third. They really seem to think if they find someone their machine likes, the voters have no choice but to buy it.
WRONG. I am done voting for the lesser of two evils, just for fear the worst of them will win. Talk about throwing away your vote.

I couldn't agree more!
I would like to think that this election will be a big wake-up call, with so many dissatisfied voters...but I'm probably overly-optimistic. I've got my fingers crossed that Nader pick's up the 5% he needs for matching funds in 2004.

Already sent in my absentee for Bush.
And if the all the Gore campaign could come up with was a 24 year old DUI incident, then I think that's pretty lame. Heck, Gore's been making felonious phone calls from the VP office within the last few years. When Clinton & Gore finally get out of office and Reno gets replaced, watch the serious charges finally arise. Missing e-mails will not be able to save him.

Nader. If the major parties want my vote, they'll have to produce candidates I can vote FOR. As an Independent, I'm tired of voting for the lesser of two evils. My state will probably go for Bush. Heck, the Democrats haven't bothered to run a candidate in our local elections in years. I am worried about Supreme Court nominees, and if I were in a swing state , I'd probably waffle right about now and consider a vote for Gore. But it'll be Nader for me next week.

I have NEVER failed to vote in an election. This time I'm looking forward to that day with less excitement and anticipation than I do a root canal. If I can force myself to pull the lever it will probably be for Gore, but I may not vote at all because I have done it before and voting for the lesser of 2 evils turns my stomach. And to my mind not voting seems more a protest than throwing my vote to someone who can't possibly win, but could possibly affect who does win.

If it were not for Bush's father he would never be in office. Drug addict - convicted drunk driver - today he says the only reason he didn't tell the world about his drunk driving condition is that he didn't want his daughters to have a bad example. No, the only reason is that it seals another nail into JR's coffin.
Without the Bush family name he would never have gone this far. He gets away with doing illegal drugs - driving a car full of people drunk and now is running for President - fine example - only in America. Kinda like how OJ got off - money always talks. He bumbles everytime he is asked a foreign policy question - he looks dumbfounded to the audience - as if to see if daddy will help him out.
After seeing the latest interviews with his two choices for the Supreme Court - I cannot imagine why any woman would vote for him. We'll be jumping back in time about 20 years.
Ok - start firing
