How did the Bush brothers "know" on Tuesday evening that the Networks were "wrong" on giving Florida to Gore ?

The Networks were right in their exit polling, so how did Bush know about 19,000 Gore votes being thrown out ? Why did the recount turn up 1400 more votes for Gore and nearly none for Bush ?

There's something fishy in Florida, and we may end up with a President that doesn't deserve to be there. The effect is not just 4 years of a powerless President, we will live with the Supteme Court choices for the rest of our lives.

I hope the Justices will realize this and not retire, just hope none of them die in the next four years!!

Where is J. Edgar Hoover when you need him? These conspiracy theories simply must be investigated!

Reamond,
Right again.

There's this happening: "Saying it was a matter of critical public importance, Volusia County’s Elections Canvassing Board unanimously agreed Thursday to take the extraordinary step of
manually counting the ballots cast Tuesday in the race for President. The laborious process of counting all 184,018 ballots is likely to begin Saturday morning. The
count, which will be conducted under the supervision of the Canvassing Board with witnesses from both major political parties, is expected to take until Tuesday to be
completed.Volusia voters supported Vice president Al Gore over Governor George Bush by a margin of 97,063 to 82,214. The outcome was verified Wednesday
evening when the Canvassing Board completed an automatic recount of the votes The State Executive Committee of the Florida Democratic Party made the request for
a manual recount of the ballots late Thursday afternoon. "During the balloting process, the subsequent tabulation of ballots, and the statutorily required recount, numerous problems transpired which call into question the accuracy and the veracity of Volusia County’s returns for the Offices of President and Vice-President of the
United States," states the written request for a manual recount. The Republican Party objected to the request. Party representatives said the ballots already had been
recounted and in the interest of public "finality" the time-consuming manual recount request should not be granted.Volusia County, Florida is located 60 miles
northeast of Orlando. It has a permanent population of approximately 430,000. Its largest city is Daytona Beach. There are 260,752 registered voters, 43 percent
Democrats and 38 percent Republicans." --Volusia County, 11/9/00

krs, sorry I have another question for you.

Last night there was a new allegation that registered republican service people stationed overseas were sent more then one absentee ballot while registered democrates were sent only one. Have you read anything about this.

I heard that on KFWB (a news-radio station)here in the L.A. area today. They reported that a woman in the military stationed overseas reported that she and several people she knew of had received more than one absentee ballot. And that to her knowledge many people who'd received more than one had filled in and *returned* more than one.

If true, IMO this casts all absentee ballots in a bad light. How widespread was this double-balloting? All would have to be redone...

What I've learned.

There truly ARE conspiracies here there and everywhere.

Another thing Ive learned.

I can't for the life of me prove any of them.

So I go on, hoping they will at least find the other shooter from way back then and hoping when my Grandkids are grown they will find out what happened with Whitewater, the ballot box bru ha ha and whatever happened to Hoffa (sp?)
