I am hoping against hope that there is some kind soul here at AW who watched and taped the first part of this miniseries on PBS. It's titled "Napoleon", it aired Wednesday of this week, for the first 2 hours. The second 2 will be next week.
I waited forever for this show, then FORGOT about it the day it came on and I am *so* mad at myself.
If you have it and would be willing to tape a copy for me, or just let me borrow your copy to watch then I will send it back, I would be soooo grateful. I will buy/furnish any blank video tapes needed to make a copy and heck... who knows what it'd be worth to me if I get desperate enough to see it and no one has it. I could buy the video on PBS for $30 which is a bit too rich for my blood right now.
Please respond if you have a copy.

I don't have a copy, but PBS usually runs these programs more than once. Have you checked your local PBS listings?

I'll keep checking, but so far I've only seen it listed the one time. I use Yahoo's TV listing thing which lets you click on the show to see future airdates and it doesn't show it for a future airing.
My mom said the same thing, though, that PBS usually reruns stuff several times, so I'm hoping that's the case!

posted on November 10, 2000 11:33:22 PM newblackcoffeeblues: My Satellite Direct guide shows two one hour segments being aired tomorrow evening. I have noticed that satellite doesn't always match regular TV, so don't know if your local PBS station is going to air it.

Anyone else who might get it in their area tonight, if you can tape it please go ahead and do it! LOL, of course I'll probably end up with 10 copies now that I said that.
I won't be home today, but if you are lucky enough to get the show tonight on your local PBS station, and you have a tape handy, please record it for me.
