Last night for the first time I played the State lottery. The card I filled out looked very confusing, it had bunch of numbers from 1 to 60 in four boxes. I circled few numbers and had my lottery card registered at the newstand.
At 6pm the lottery numbers were shown on TV. Right after that I realized the numbers I selected were not the winning numbers. I was wondering if I could go back now and pick the winning numbers. I understand it is a bit late but the card was confusing. I think I should be able to redo my numbers.
What do you think?
Do you see how STUPID this argument is? Please people USE SOME COMMON SENSE. YOU cannot have a re-vote! and you cannot recount votes forever! The whole world is laughing at us...
Please don't say the ballot was confusing. There were FREAKIN' ARROWS pointing to the hole the voter should punch!!! Am I the only one seeing ARROWS there? Can you follow the arrow? If you can't then you should not vote.

In one of the other threads, a person from West Palm Beach said that when you actually slid the ballot into the machine, you couldn't see the arrows.

I do not want a re-vote. I DO want ALL of the votes counted though. All of the hidden ones, the thrown away ones, the ones in Jebs closet..... How did Gore gain 2000 votes? Over Bush's few hundred? Where did they come from? Why weren't they counted in the original count? Even if Bush wins, I still would like to know the answer to this. No one will ever tell what really went on.

curlyg510; I want a recount of all the votes that democrats submitted from dead people, illegal immigrants, resident aliens (non-cizitens) etc. Have all of them (votes) tossed out.
There is a history of weird stuff going on with our elections for years. Specificaly in California that has a huge illegal immigrant population.
Remember Democrats are ALWAYS for the people. By the way the Communist party is also for 'the people'. It is the same party.
Take away from the rich and give it to the poor. That is really FAIR. Because the rich have more money they can afford to pay more in taxes right? You want equality? how about EVERYONE pays the same tax rate. Oh my god, Jake you are so EVIL how can you say this?
I just want everyone to be FAIR or otherwise we have communism.
With all the spin, stonewalling, lying, and cheating that democrats do I fear them like the mob. They want to scare everyone.
btw I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. However I grew up in a Communist country and I know Communists when I see them.

jakemelon, I have been WISHING for a flat tax rate for all. I do not think you are evil for saying that all. I do not agree with "take from the Rich and give to the Poor".
I would throw those votes out also. We would STILL get CA.

We don't have a flat tax rate because then the loopholes will be gone. The rich people who can afford to contribute to PACs would land up paying even MORE in taxes since they couldn't deduct little Dubya's failed S&L, etc.
As to the dead rising to vote...I wonder how many ozone-destroying cattle are registered to vote.

EVERYONE should pay thier fair share, I dont feel I should subsidize Exxons oil drilling ventures or Bank of Americas capital expansions. Do you really feel the The Gettys, Rockfellars,Trumps and Hearses should pay less tax than you! Their 1% tax back would equal millions to yours. Do you really feel the tax breaks should be broad based and equal, I dont. I think the people who actually pay their fair share should be the ones who receive any breaks at all. Do you realise that the middle class actually pay biggest percentage of all tax collected,CAN YOU REALLY TELL ME THATS Fair???

I agree, all SUBSIDIES should be stopped; that means no welfare subsidies for those who don't feel like working and for the corporations mentioned earlier.
EQUAL taxation is the only solution. How can you say that because someone is SUCCESFUL and makes a lot of money should be PUNISHED for their hard work by paying higher taxes!
If you're in sales and your pay is commission based (like mine is) the more I sell the more I earn, the more taxes I have to pay. WHY am I punished for working harder trying to make more money? this is totaly silly. This country will NEVER be equal if we punish everyone who is succesful.
This is what commies do, like I said earlier; they took all private businesses and assets and gave them away to the poor to 'even out' the playfield. See the similaries here??? Democrats want the same here. It makes me SICK when I hear democrats say we need to 'even out the playfield'.

You want to even out the playfield? fine, this is a FREE COUNTRY. Get on an airplane and fly to Cuba or China, denounce your U.S. Citizenship and live in the country where the playfield is evened out and EVERYONE is equal (except the government).
Upon arrival you will get your food coupons for sugar, flour and meat; about 1 lb of each per month per family member. You will not be able to drive a car because not everyone can afford one so to be fair NO ONE IS allowed to drive except on bicycles. You like to read newspapers? fine there are TWO government newspapers. Like TV? fine, there are three channels of State TV to watch. Oh and there is no Jerry Springer on Chinese or Cuban TV.
