Of course I do, he is a man of Character, morals above reproach, and most of all sound family values.
Wow now that I am through joking. Let's get serious. I love him because he is funny as God knows what. And with him gone out of Texas, we have shot at democratic govenor in that State. We get a chance watch him and the republican party try to seperate and blame the democrats for the forth coming recession. I can't wait for the State of The Union Address. Given his diction and ignorance of a great many things that should be a real hoot to listen too.
But most importantly he shows you that family values are good to have it got him the White House. Now how he intends to repay that 60 million that was raised to buy him the White House is what really scares me. But then again, nothing he does really has any effect on my economic fortunes.

uh jada, everyday mistakes, and how do you feel about the Clinton (that is Bill). He didn't make any mistakes. OK I guess sex is not a mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Hahahaha unless you are the product of that sex, but nah, we know Monica's dress took the fall for THAT!

I wonder how ANYBODY with the brains God gave a rock could vote for....
A man who was an abject failure for the first forty years of his life....
Finally, through the effort of his Dad the president(who had to sell his soul for this one", got a job as an Oil executive with the explicit instructions "he don't touch nothing"
Was too dumb for politics, but became Governor anyways, maybe because the people of Texas identfied with him. They liked his "bloodlust".

While we're loving the ignorant drunk. Let's address some of his other endearing qualities. He gets slapped around for the lack of diversity in his camp and he spends three days walking around with Colin Powell in front of the cameras.
He still wants to be called Govenor because he still can't beleive they pulled it off.
Cheney was so scared they would get caught he had a heart attack.
Yep I think I'll spend the next four years documenting this Presidency. Because since there is no enemey to fight for once a Republican President has to actually run the country with no war or war like situation to distract the American People. I betcha any amount of money as soon as he gets into the White House. Either Iraq or Lybia gets accused of being the bad guy. Can't pick on the North Koreans anymore they got a bomb pointed at 25000 American Troops on the DMZ. Then again with dimwit in the White House he might actually confuse the report that says Nuclear Capacity to mean they don't have the bomb.

boysmoomy3~ well we've had the sex addict and pathological liar for the last 8 years, ia any other addiction any different?
I think we should have equal opportunity addictions. Clearly Clinton has indulged his during the presidency.... why should any other leader be any different?

Since the recession is already here and the Dems are still in office...who should we blame?

I've been bracing for the spectre of a shrub presidency, and we all should look at the bright side.
* Four years of an up-close look at the art of puppetry.
* An opportunity for Dems to shed their "lack of integrity" label -- the things we're about to see will make Repubs yearn for the Whitewater and Monica days of yore.
* The sheer entertainment value of watching a vacant-skulled, video-game-playing lightweight who will be so far in over his head they'll have to use his old oil drills to find him. When will we ever have a another chance to watch a man evaporate and blow away at the first sign of pressure?
Any bets on how soon before he runs home to the ranch?
BTW, gotta love those red bandanas hanging on the mantel. Classy. See? The laughs have started already.

Oh what a HAPPY day it is!
Now I feel I can breathe again! Sore Looserman doesn't seem to know he's dead. Maybe someone should tell him!
I know, I know, there will be MANY posts about Bush's human faults...a few about Bill's (remember this one? "I didn't INHALE"..yeah...sure...right.
I am GLAD that the Republicans stood their ground against the bullying democrats. There are a lot of people that read these posts and agree with me. But because anyone who favors Bush is 'character assasinated' they don't post.
My opinions are as valuable as yours. My character is as good as yours. You are no better or worse than I am, simply because your/my views differ.
I could go on and on about Gore's staged events(the conference call was a riot!)...he is still REINVENTING himself. I wonder who/what the real Al Gore is about?
He is facing a midlife crisis...poor baby.sniff sniff...poor little rich boy...all he ever wanted his entire life was to be President..and he is even quoted as saying he would 'do anything' to be elected...
Give me a real person like Bush...instead of one who reinvents himself depending on the issue at hand.

I challenge you to find a Pres who WASN'T a pathological liar...one couldn't please enough people to get the vote without lying!!!
with that said...
I admit it..I love bush...just not the Dubya kind
Keith
I assume full responsibility for my actions, except
the ones that are someone else's fault.
posted on December 4, 2000 09:39:54 PMWhere are you going to find a guy who graduated from Harvard and yet makes as many mistakes as you do when he opens his mouth?
Yeah, I went to Brooklyn College, because my daddy wasn't a Hah-vahd alumnus with an "old" name, although I bet I scored a lot higher on my SATs than Dubya did. Wouldn't have mattered, because we couldn't have afforded Harvard tuition anyway. Ironically, I don't make as many usage mistakes as he does every time I open my mouth.
Where are you going to find a millionaire who likes nothing better than to pack his fishing rods and spend the day catching Bass with his buddies?
That's the luxury of those who don't work, but had daddies or grandaddies who did it all for them. Not impressive. Me, I prefer a guy who plays bass guitar to a guy who goes bass fishing in any case.
A white male Republican who starts forming his new cabinet with blacks, women and Democrats?
Apparently the "message" that women and minorities have been trying to send out for years, that they too need to be included in the machinery is hitting home. It sure is healthy that a "white male Republican" in the year 2000 feels obliged to include those people that have been excluded. Apparently there are even black female Republicans to be found. More power to them, and to him.(Democrats though? who?)
You love Bush because you could be him, or he could be someone you know.
I prefer my president's to be a little bit greater than average though and not someone I know, but that's just me.
His mistakes, his simplicity, his directness, his frugality, his what-you-see-is-who-I-am quality, make him endearing.
His mistakes, his simplicity, his directness, his frugality, his what-you-see-is-who-I-am quality, make him endearing.
Not for a president. But again, that's just me.
It's not just you...I agree. Being the leader of the most powerful country in the world, either a Democrat or a Republican, should be, IMO well spoken, strong and someone that you know that if there is a crisis, will be able to handle it.

Well the beauty of all of this is the reality that George Dubya will be the 43rd President of the United States of America. As such all of his inherent faults aside we as a Nation has to side with him and pray that the almighty (Or whatever other term used to describe a supreme diety) Continues to bless America and guide our leaders.
Like I told a lot of my Republican Friends last night, "Your going to miss that Chicken Eating, Womanizing, liberal from Arkansas when he's gone." The sex scandal aside which was another example of partisian shoving down the throats of trivial events of no ones real concern. William Jefferson Clinton was a decent president. Key points of his Presidency.
1. Showed us that you don't need troop deployments on a bi-annual basis to keep the economy moving or to give the common folk something to talk about.
2. Showed that so called Family Values and Moral Fiber can never replace Style and Chrisma.
3. Showed us that the President is also a man with the same thoughts and desire that all men approaching 60 have. The desire to be wanted by younger women for something except their money.
4. Instituted policies that kept his word when first elected in 1992 to have a budget surplus within 5 years.
5. Tried to give us National Health Care policies but met with stiff opposition from the HMO's, Pharmacuticals, and others of the capitalism to the extreme corporate factions.
So if the Womanizer from Arkansas was able to jump start all of this growth. I am sure the 12 Stepper from Texas can't possibly be stupid enough to end it. So as soon as the election controversey is put the rest. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of cabinet the 12 stepper intends to put together. And will see if he can lead us into the next decade without surrendering the progress we have seen in the last.
And although I have absolutley no use for the few pennies his tax cut will place in my pocket. I want to see how soon will that cut reach my pocket. I want to see how will he handle the Middle East. I suspect that within 6 months that Bin Ladel guy will be public enemey number one and the 12 stepper will distract us for about 18 months tracking him down. I suspect that the environmental changes to the refining of gas that lead to the radical price increases of gas will be removed. So air will be filthier but gas cheaper. Except in California where the environmental standard was already in force before the EPA extended it to the other 49 states. Humm maybe I'll move to California.

"Give me a real person like Bush."
Please - a man who is an addict and alcoholic is not a real person - he could not handle his 'real self' so did drugs and drank alcohol to overcome his 'real self'.
Pocono,
ROTFLOL - HAHAHHA - Your last line just made me die laughing - I thought I would add -
Bandaged zit faced moron!! Where is his PR staff - who in their right mind would come out with that huge bandage on his face - this from our future great leader - HA - I wouldn't let anyone I know go out in public looking like that - then he stumbles over the teleprompter words - the man needs serious help.
For the poster that said Clinton's sex scandal is the same as a drug addiction - hello... sex is legal - drugs are not. Sex does not alter your brain as drugs do etc. - big difference from a leader who committed illegal acts to a leader who committed immoral acts. I personally feel Clinton is a pig for what he did to his family BUT IMHO that has nothing to do with his position. IF you knew everything your boss did in his private life - you would probably be unpleasantly suprised.
Anyway - the moron looks like he is in. Any bets as to when he gets caught drinking or sniffing?
Gore staged the kiss to his wife - please .... Bush supporters are just jealous because Bush is never seen being affectionate with his family - staged or not.

Give him time. I think that a Bush presidency will be hilarious, and remember back awhile when I said that for me all a president should be is amusing. If only he could have selected his daddy's running mate for his own.

Not so many years ago, it was taken as true that a man who had been divorced could never be elected president, the fact of his divorce would prove that his judgement couldn't be trusted, not for such an important office. Reagan broke that barrier.
Then came Clinton, whose admission that "tried" pot was made much of, leading him to the ridiculous assertion that he had smoked it but hadn't inhaled. And he was elected president.
Now we have Bush and Gore, both viable candidates of the current time. Gore has admitted that he not only smoked pot, but did it more than once, and he doesn't claim he didn't inhale. I believe he called it 'trying' it. Several times. Yeah, I know people who have tried pot more than once. Smoke it once, not sure you like it, smoke it again just to be sure you don't like it, you can go on like that for decades.
And Bush. Recovered alcoholic, possible former drug user.
It's amazing how much things have changed since merely being divorced would have disqualified anyone for the presidency, in practical terms.
