I need some advice here. What would you recommend and a good anti-virus software service or package? I am going to be getting a lot of attachemtnts as part of my new web job and I've tried McAfee and it was ok, heard Norton is better.
Whadda ya think?

I didn't care for McAfee when I had it but that was years ago. A couple people have told me that it didn't always catch some not so uncommon viruses and they got infected although they claimed they had the most recent updates. (For what that's worth.)
I use Norton because I got it over a year ago and the annual update fee is cheap (something like $4). It's worked for me so far and have had no reason to dump it.
Some people at the grc.com newsgroups recommend Inoculate Personal Edition which is FREE. It's an established brand so nothing funky here. I'd give it a spin if I didn't already have Norton.
There's also PC-Chillin and AVP and others. Here's a good site for different software references, links, and computer security stuff: http://web2.airmail.net/buzz/faqlinks.html
With any AV program you use the key is to update frequently and maintain protection against the latest viruses. Have fun choosing one to use.
