Thank you for reading this

Hubby and I have in our posession a vintage 1933 Lou Gehrig Goudy Baseball card, and are considering putting up for auction. My question is this - How do you go about getting the condition of the card certified? We did a search on eBay and found that some cards are certified, and some are not. I think that a card of this stature would do much better in an auction if it were officially certified as to it's condition (by the way, it's in much better shape than the current high bid one at around $1700.00 -yeee-ha!)
Again, thanks for reading this, and if you can help, it's much appreciated!

Thanks a heap Stusi, I went there and registered. Went ahead and listed the card without a cert. though. If it sells, it sells, if it doesn't, I'll get it rated. We're not very serious collectors here, just have quite a few things we've been holding on to for a while.
