Hi!
All this talk about recounts and how much more fair hand counts are...can't trust machines etc.
I'd like to issue a challenge! Get 1500 beans(coins...anything will do)...Take them to your neighbor/friend/family member and ask them to count them. (They can take their time don't hurry them.)
Log in the totals...now how MANY of the human counts were the correct amount?
Please log in and let us know if the human counts were right on target or not.
BTW a news channel did this with jelly beans...out of hundreds of counters only 2 were correct!
Just a simple example of how human counting inconsistencies is why we have machines..they are correct more than we are.
Interested to find out the results...please accept the challenge.

Well gee, then how in the world is the person (any of us) supposed to go gather up the beans (or whatever) in the first place? I mean how can we (no way I guess, hungh?) ever, ever, ever know if there were really 1500 beans to begin with?
