Read it again, Keith. I think he's referring to some other movie ( or move? ). Must be an independent film or some college flick. Maybe he just didn't pay attention.
The Mighty Python?
The Holy Gail?

Although I think I saw a porno by that name in the "Matue Audiences" area. ( NOT that I LOOK for that type of thing )

The Avengers. Hands down, the dumbest movies I've attempted to watch in the past few years. When the scene started with the multi-colored bears in the meeting room, I got up and left the family room.
Armageddon as well. They ran out of special effects money after the first 5 minutes, and just shook the cameras after that. Bruce, what were you thinking?

Most all of the Star Trek movies were stupid in the extreme. (This coming from somebody that likes the franchise in general)
Escape from New York - is dumb - But It's like junk food that you know is bad, but it's just so much fun in it's own way that you have to watch it.

Yes The Avengers was horrible! What about that movie with John Travolta, Battlefield Earth. Was that the name? I thought that was really bad too. I really liked Scary Movie and Escape from New York.

I LOVE Repo Man! It's on my list of all time favorites. What a classic. Emilio Estevez, aliens, and the car repo master (uhh, can't remember the name of the actor now, it'll bug me all night, dang).
It is not a stupid movie.

December3: I agree that Beloved was not a box office blockbuster, but I thought Jonathan Demme did an excellent job of bringing Toni Morrison's lyrical tale to the big screen.
Morrison is not an easy writer to follow, she often uses methaphorical touches that require passages to be read, and reread again. This might sound silly, but I had to read Beloved twice (over a decade ago) before I realized the title character was a ghost, a haint come back to rue confusion on her mother, Sethe.

Jusr was reminded of another really dumb one. "Ice Pirates" - Robert Urich and Angelica Huston (Sp?)
Jaw dropping dumb. Nothing worse than a comedy that doesn't begin to be funny.

Ok, I'm going to catch a lot of heat on this one, but I have to say it: GHOST. Stupid movie. Close up of Demi Moore, eyes brimming with tears, every four minutes. BORING.
Also, I have to say FARGO. Maybe I just don't appreciate dark humor (in this case, WAY dark humor).

ANY film spawned in the oxygen-deprived brains of those tedious members (and former members) of Saturday Night Live.
I can't believe that any of them even knows what the word "humour" means.
