I thought Castaway was a good movie but the ending sucked. For being nominated for the best actor of the year in Cast Away there should have been a better ending

She could have left her husband and the father of her child to live with a man who had been talking to a soccer ball for years. He couldn't be the same person after all he was through and what if she discovered she didn't like what he had become? She couldn't just go back to her husband and pick up like nothing happened. What kind of an ending would you put on it?-----------------------------------

Donchathink, it was one of those family image movies. Even when he got together with his lost love, it was breathless, yet soooo moral. Anywho, the best thing out of that movie at our house... now, when my husband does not answer me I just call him "Wilson". He laughs and answers me!!!
