Sorry to be so brash!

Remember your thread from a while back...the one about the woman on death row, convicted of killing her two little boys? Just wanted to let you know that "American Justice," the A&E show with Bill Kurtis, is doing that case tonight, at either 9 or 10pm EST.

Thanks for the heads up Julsey. The last I've heard on her she was turned down for her retrial request. I still can't decide whether she's guilty or innocent...

Hi [Julsely[/B] I caught the last half of the show. I had almost convinced myself 100% of her guilt. After watching that I'm almost 100% convinced that she's innocent... I wonder if we'll ever know what really happened?

Thanks again for the heads up.

Heya Mybidness --

This is a tough one, isn't it?! I'm bothered by the fact that there is virtually no motive. Why make a big deal out of their finances, when there was no insurance money (5K is not substantial)? Plus, did you see those horrific bruises, and/or defensive marks, on her arms? Did the jury sleep through those pictures?

I can't believe she was convicted and received the death penalty based on that "evidence"...

Good Morning Julesy

The jury says they never saw the photos of her injuries. Judging from the pics they showed on the program last night - there is no way those could have been self-inflicted. And, how did the bloody sock get 75 yards away from the scene without a trail of her blood? What about the unidentified bloody finger print? The case against her was compelling but not "beyond a reasonable doubt." I think that if she did it - someone had to have helped her...

I think she was convicted because of the video of the silly string birthday party at the gravesite. I'll admit it was pretty chilling to watch. But, IMO that doesn't make her guilty of anything.

Here's a link to the crime library info. for anyone who wants to read the full story.
