Hi there,
I need some help with a couple of coding issues.
I have a password to my windows machine that my kid put on there and promptly forgot.
the code looks like this (this is only part of it)
EÜÀȼ E΢Õ_&P‡âî^-_ÙÛ³ºŠ2¨ .õÏÊ[œ`'þ

ùIf›¯÷Œõ z8þÝsyÆ¡®ò;Ôþ
EÊ´y[9É}Ë©
What is this stuff? I know it is stored as a pwl file. How can I read the password? Any help would be appreciated.
I also have a template for a website that I bought that is coded in a similar way.
I appreciate you help.
Gett not bent

I believe windows passwords are stored in an encrypted format. You would need a password cracker to break it. You might try just renaming the extension on the .pwl file (i.e., .bak). If I remember right, this will revert to a blank password. If this works, you can then delete the file.
