That puts personal deductions at risk for most people. No more mortgage interest deduction? No more deducting state and local taxes?

Well, that was depressing. That's the first article I've read on that slant. I hope they'll make the changes needed before it's finalized. I'm sick of paying high taxes.

alternative minimum tax is the Accountant's Full Employment Provision of tax law.

Dang. don't get me started on taxes krs. You're opening a Pandora's box of discussion with me.

anyone wanna debate the advisability of a flat tax system?

anyone know where I can get a full proposal of Dubya's tax cut plan? I got my suspicions of some areas that his team is going to sneak in some unexpected changes while they're tweaking this cut.
