Oh, I couldn't take it any more. I broke down and bought a pizza...and some breadsticks...and a 2 liter of Coke...for myself...and...

(pause)

(pause)

*snore* *snore*

*sudden jerk of the head and look around*

Wha? (As I lift my keyboard-imprinted face from my desk, and wipe the drool from my cheek)

Guess I forgot what all that bread does to me.

Muriel, am I in trouble?

Kimbonovich,

Your not in trouble...

What toppings were on the pizza?

Barry (I hope Kimbonovich says pepperoni) Barris

Kimbonovich,

OHH YES, I like pizza.

I used to tend bar at the Paramount Grill.

They made a terrific pizza and THE BEST MEATBALL SANDWICH IN THE WORLD.

Barry (wish I had a Paramount meatball sandwich now) Barris

Kim, Kim, Kim, what am I going to do with you?? Don't listen to Barry - you were in carbo hell!! Pizza really makes my blood sugar shoot up. Of course, who am I to talk? Yesterday I went to the hospital to have my semi-annual blood work done to see how my diabetes is coming along. So after I got done, I went to McDonald's and bought a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. BIG MISTAKE! Blood sugar SHOT up! Then, I didn't bring my lunch and I had a 2:00 meeting, so I ate two Paczkis that someone brought in for Fat Tuesday. One Lemon, one Bavarian Creme. Talk about stupid. So I have to get back on the wagon or I'll be in big trouble.

(Edited because my blood sugar is still fogging my mind)

Kim, speaking of carbs, my daughter and grandson are both exhibiting symptoms of diabetes. This scares me because for them it would be juvenile diabetes, the worst kind. My grandson has it on both sides of the family, both sets of grandparents. NOT good. They are going to the doctor on the 15th to talk to her about getting tested. Both my daughter and grandson eat carbs and sugar like there's no tomorrow.
