In the process of finding a fix for a browsing problem on our main desktop system, I found my way to this site: http://members.iinet.net.au/~sandi/MVP/index.htm
I have nothing to do with this site, except the fact that I found the fix to our IE problem there. It is run by a Microsoft MVP who also helps out on the Microsoft newsgroups.
It is chock full of answers concerning many problems with both Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. I thought perhaps the members here could benefit from the information.
