You can bet that if men were the ones to bear children contraception would not be covered by insurance--it would be freely available on every street corner...

Hatred of women? Possibly.
But, ever since he came on the national scene and we started to learn more about him, more and more I got the impression that he feels women should be subservient to men.
And, that, more than anything he has done in the past or anything he does/says today, is why I dislike the man so much.

I knew Bush would do things like this. That's why, even though I didn't like Gore, I couldn't vote for Bush either.
The illogic of being anti-abortion and obstructing birth control in any way, is just astounding.

You know, I never have understood insurance companies that won't cover $20 a month for birth control pills but will cover thousands of dollars to cover the birth and care of a baby. The first medical insurance I ever had, at the tender age of 21, was like that. I mean aren't they supposed to be keeping costs down so they can make money? Makes no sense to me...
