I really like to ice skate. I like to see if I can skate on every part of a frozen place. Even on the thin ice. Anyone else?

Now I know I am not the only one that likes to skate on thin ice.
Did you all fall in?
Need a rescue?

Yes, skating on thin ice can be tricky... It takes skill and quick maneuvering.
I like to skate... but prefer a solid ground.

Ice skating can be a dangerous sport. But so can ice fishing. Somebody here likes to ice fish. Where is he?

Hi KatyD. There is someone here that likes to ice fish. Who is it? I can't seem to remember. Must be time for bed. Tomorrow is Easter and I do have to cook!
Nighters.

I'd rather skate on thin ice than walk on eggshells.

Good one femme!
rawbunz will the skating on thin ice involve a treat of cocoa and peeps at the end, or are snacks forbidden too?

On April 12, Hepburn's name began with a capital H. As of the 13th it began to appear with a lower case h.
Anyone know why?

I never noticed that. Now I'll have to go look.
It used to be possible to log in two ways, with at least the first letter capitalized or all small letters, if you logged in a different way than your original sign in you could still post but not get into your AW email. Totally irrelevant now since they no longer have email, but I wonder if slight variations in logins are still permitted by AW programming.
This is far too difficult for Easter Sunday morning! Must have more coffee and a few Easter eggs.
happy easter, spaz.

Thank you, Spaz, for confirming for me that I'm not completely daft.
I noticed that very thing about another long-term user's name several months back (I believe it was in EO, but can't remember whose ID it was).
Their ID was always capitalized, but all of a sudden it showed up in lower case, which made me think it was someone else.
Weird.

Spaz: Mine did the same thing. It depends on how you log in. Mine was muriel until I changed it to Muriel when I logged in last time. It makes a difference. But you didn't even notice MINE. Just HERS.

You've never lived until you ride a snow machine through the ice into the lake. Like going down sitting on a submarine - dive! dive! as you go down you can hear the engine pumping out the last bit of air it got blub - blub - blub. Looking up at the bottom of the ice is strange. especially when you don't see the hole where you came in at first....

I never paid attention to it, but now that you mention it, its kind of neat, changing the way your name looks to suit your current attitude. Today, I'm not as grouchy as I was. I guess all it took was to see an Ice Skating thread where we are all on thin ice

Hello Antiquary! It is always so good to see you around. It makes me smile!
The ice skating has been pretty good around here lately. Ice keeps getting thinner and thinner but so far have not fallen in.
Enchanted, I am sorry to see you are dis-enchanted.....wonder whatever happened to the poster disenchanted ...Brian.
You seem just as enchanting as usual to me.

Hi rawbunzel!
I didn't even know there was a disenchanted. I was just playing with my user name like the big kids, Spaz and Hepburn, who signed in differently.
You'd think the big Kristi Yamguchi fan, Barry Barris, would be a fan of skating on thin ice too.
