I was just packing some items up in my packing room. It has terrazzo floors. Nice and cool in the summer time. So I'm hefting an 18lb box I've just finished with, putting it in the pile. As I'm lifting and turning, I knocked a glass item I had just sold for $25 off and it hit the terrazzo. Guess what happened next? A million pieces. There's a $22 profit in the trash can right now.{sob} And I could've sold it at the flea market for $15.. but no, I knew I could do better on ebay. <sigh>
The postal service has nothing on me when it comes to breakage!
What's the most expensive thing you've broken while getting ready to protect it on its long journey to its new home?

Hi Sugtis a sad, sad thing. I think Murphy's law comes into play...something from the 5 & Dime will fall over and break a priceless treasure. I had bought 8 Cambridge Statuesque Glasses for $26 ea. They sold for upwards of $100 ea depending on the color of the cup. The most expensive is a pale yellow,
called Gold Krystol, about $150.00 guess which one I broke? Needless to say the customer was not pleased!
Soon as I saw your screen name this partial song has been running through my head...no offense I hope.
Oh, sugar, sugar, honey honey, you are my candy girl....
