ball surfing away. A ball you ask? Why, you say?? Because I have one that's the perfect size to sit on at my desk and I hate my office chair. So, what new thing did you try today or what thing did you do to amuse yourself?

Is it a big ball? What colour is it, and is it giving you any kind of a thrill?
These are very important questions, and do need to be answered.
Especially the part about whether or not you get any special thrill from sitting on a ball or not. We might all have to try it out.

It's a very big ball! My ferocious dog is afraid of this ball. He usually sleeps under the desk while I am here...but he keeps running away whining. It's a cross between blue and green, but more green than blue. Is it giving me a thrill? I may have to go up on Blueberry Hill to find out!

Blueberry Hill hey, I am sure it must be giving you a biggggggggg thrill and you just don't want to admit it to us. ROTF
Did your torturer tell you to use it, or is this just for pleasure?

I think I want one of these balls!!!!
I need one of these balls!!!!
It would have to be better than this worn out, squeaky, uncomfortable chair that I have to endure whilst trying to enjoy myself here at the computer.
One ball would be better than none.

But Kazanne, if it were square would it not then be a ball?
It can be a very nice ball, if used properly. If used in the way suggested to me it could be quite painful.

Alas, my scanner is not yet functional otherwise I would show you. It's just to difficult to put into words...
I must say it is quite a bouncy ball though.

Oh and I think elasticity is also very important for this particular ball. After all, that is part of what gives it it's bounce.

Sitting on that ball of yours for this long could be very dangerous - the heat from your body (one part in particular) can make it melt, you'd end up with one very soft and flat ball.

Ok, I'll tell the truth! *gasp* It's an exercise ball that my physical therapist gave me. (You were right Netta!) It's about 2.5 to 3 feet in diameter and yes, it is bouncy. The idea behind sitting on it is that you use your abdominal muscles to help you balance on it. Strengthening the abdominals helps keep your back healthy. And yes, the dog really doesn't like it. It's a thing, and a big one at that!
I really don't like my office chair and was tired of sitting on it. So I was passing by my ball and figured, what the heck? I'll give it a try! It's actually a little too high for my desk though, so I figured I wasn't doing any good leaning forward. besides, it was hard to balance and type at the same time!
