WARNING - VENT POST AHEAD!
We just returned from a local shopping trip to purchase new patio chairs...&...I'm SOOO frustrated I could scream!!!....The affordable sets at Wallyworld & Kmart are gone!...As per the salesperson, they "might" be getting a few more sets in, but not truckloads..Foolish me, I whittled away the damm month of April, cleanin/paintin' INSIDE the house, when I should have known it was outdoor season!!!...AGH!!.....
I know the marketing trends are geared to having seasonal merchandise in the stores 1 to 2 seasons BEFORE they are actually to be used, but I for one am sick & tired of buyin' sandals & bathing suits in March, & Halloween candy in August, & Christmas items in September!.....My evening will be spent emailin' every store I can find online to express my opinion....Will it make a difference?....Probably NOT, but it will reduce my stress level & I will feel better that at least I took the time to tell the big boys, that "I" am fed up with this practice!!!
...like snow shovels or sleds in the winter or lawn chairs in the summer!
