today the Florida legislature outlawed the use of paper ballots and thus there will be no more chads, hanging or otherwise! are there still other states using this ridiculous system?

Where I vote we still have the punch ballots, chads and all. We even have the butterfly ballot. I haven't heard anything about changing it either. I'm in OH just south of Cleveland.

I still say if you can't punch a hole next to your candidate of choice, or see the arrow next to their name on a butterfly ballot, then you probably shouldn't be voting. The fact that most of these people voted for Gore proves my point.

Hey,
I just heard on the TV news that Florida plans on selling the machines on eBay. They hope to get a few million dollars. I guess each machine cost $150. Either other states will want them or they will become novelty/collectable items.
