"Democrats are accusing President Bush of neglecting education programs in an effort to make room for his tax cut.

Funny. At the same time that they rail at President Incompetant, Jr., "just enough" Democrats sneak over to the other side of the asile to vote with the Republicans on this sham.

Why aren't you pissed off?

Because I had very low expectations of whichever side won.
The real rulers behind the scenes control everything with money and the people have a choice between two candidates that are 90% the same.
Do you want jackass A or B? What a choice.

They have the public hoodwinked.

Very True, gravid -- succinctly put. Now, if we can only enlighten the rest of Americans, we just might still be able to save the day ...

Is an "asile" the same as an "aisle"?

Actually, an "asile" is a very rare, in fact, some believe extinct member of the Kzyl-Orda species of tropolyp, indigenous only to a very small section of an out of the way plateau in Northern Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstani people are furious that the US overproduction of wheat is killing off this highly alergic species of tropolyp. In fact I think there is a bill in Congress as we speak authored by David Bonior (D-MI) to halt US production of wheat in order to save the endangered "asile tropolyp".
