SIMI VALLEY, CA--Slave manpower was doubled this week in an effort to assure that erection of the gigantic Reagan Pyramid remains on schedule, and will be completed in time for the 40th President's mummification and ascension into the Afterworld upon death.

With doctors concurring that the former leader, suffering from Alzheimer's, is expected to die within two years, swift completion of the towering structure is "of paramount priority," according to Republican party insiders.

"Only the most gigantic tomb ever created will be worthy of the Great Communicator," said former Reagan Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger. "As his mortal subjects, it is our holy duty to provide Reagan with a burial commensurate with his stature, in order that he may enter the Realm of Death bedecked with raiments and honors so that he may take his rightful place beside the mighty Sun God, Ra."

From his ranch estate, the bedridden Reagan responded, saying, "Ra."

That is hilarious!!!!

"Buried with Reagan will be his finest treasures," Meese said, "including 2,500 MX intercontinental ballistic missiles, 15 Stealth bombers, a golden chalice of jelly beans and his most prized servant, George Bush." LOL

They might want to include every existing copy of his films, too.

And now, the rest of the story...

Also on the drawing boards is the Reagan Mahal, as a testament to the greatest love affair ever known to man.

It will contain all of those love letters that Romeo Ronnie wrote to his Juliet.

The red-lined walls will have solid 24K gold frames holding enlargements of every picture taken showing Ron and Nancy gazing adoringly into each others eyes.

Unlike the Reagan Pyramid, the Reagan Mahal will be open to the little people, if you can afford the entry fee.

Regan Mahal will serve as a reminder for all time that you will never, ever know a love such as this.

Should the sweetness have an effect on the weak-stomached, there will be barf cans strategically placed around the exhibit.

It's only appropriate. Of course, we'll soon hear Bill Clinton taking credit for the building of this great pyramid as long as it is received well by the public...

Perhaps there will be a poll.

They might want to include every existing copy of his films, too.... I don't believe I EVER saw a reagan movie which was worth ANYTHING...Talk about a "wooden soldier"...
Of course, I only saw the first half of 2 movies... and went back to Casper the Friendly Ghost...
And to think that all of the female employees, where I used to work, "Voted for him because HE WAS SUCH A GREAT ACTOR..." Great qualifications for a President

Not to mention every federal building.

And, we won't even talk about the yo-yo who wanted to include Reagan to Mt. Rushmore.

Meanwhile, there is nothing, absolutlely nothing commemorating one of our Founding Fathers, our first vice president and our second president, John Adams.

It's obscene.

Considering that my state was named after some two-bit 17th century English duke, perhaps it's time for a name change. How does 'Reagan' grab you?

The streets of San Jose were awash in the blood of whackos let out of Agnew State Hospital. They didn't know to get out of the way of cars or trains. Splat!! Another one bites the dust for the Gipper! One less mouth to feed--a Republican success story.

Reagan is getting his punishment from God, just as he and his Republican cohorts said AIDS was God's punishment for gays.

Forget proof, it isn't required on this board.

The things to remember are:

Republicans are the Great Satan. Even if they do something right it was for all the wrong reasons. All their motivations are based on greed and power. If there isn't any immediately evident benefit to the rich Republicans in some policy or position it is only because they are really sneaky.

The anti-Republican fervor found here makes the love that Iran has for the U.S. seem like a high school crush. The intensity is truly amazing.

Ever hear of Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson ? Reagan's republican supporters both maintain AIDS was a punishment from god.

Reagan is getting just what he deserves. He can't even remember what a sh*t stain president he was, or for that matter even who he is.

The republican party was all ready to wheel him out for fund raising whenever they needed him, but now can't - too bad. They sure can't use his record to run on.

I think they should start bringing Reagan to republican fund raisers and prop him up at the table. A mindless drooling zombie is a great and fitting icon for the republican party.

If you want to see the truth about Reagan visit the site below. What amazes me is how the repubs never changed. Back in the 80's reagan wanted vegetables taken from kids, and here in 2001 they wanted salmonella testing stopped on the kids lunch program. 20 years later and nothing has changed.

Perhaps I should have been more specific, as I didn't realize Robertson & Falwell were his cohorts. Regardless, I see no other was to interpret the he in just as he and his Republican cohorts said AIDS was God's punishment for gays than Reagan himself.

I ask again, I'd love to see supporting evidence.

deuce,

Are you incapable of the simplest search, or do you think that obstinance is clever?

Even a very quick use of "falwell-reagan-gay turns out more than a million hits. Here's a starter sample for you, but if, as you say, you'd "love to see supporting evidence" wouldn't it be easier to go get your own rather than hold your love in obeyance while others do it for you. hoo?

In 1983, A US House of Representatives subcommittee concludes that the
Reagan administration's response to the AIDS epidemic has been
"irresponsible, inadequate, and unnecessarily delayed." Naturally, ten
conservative Republican congressmen (with loyalties to the Prez) file an
angry dissent to the committee's findings

In 1985, now heading into the fourth year of the AIDS crisis, neither
President Reagan or wife "Just Say No" Nancy have dared to utter the word
"AIDS" in public, or acknowledge in any way that the epidemic or even the
disease exists. A fact that riles many activists, one of whom makes the claim
"Our president doesn't seem to know AIDS exists. He's spending more money on
the paint to put the American flag on his missiles than he is spending on
AIDS."

In 1987, Ron Reagan, Jr., tells _People Magazine he's lost at least a dozen
friends to AIDS. He doesn't blame his father for the government's slow
movement in response to the epidemic, because Dad's just "getting bad advice
from people who think about image and votes."

Reagan never mentioned Aids until 87. Falwell and Pat Robertson were verbal about it, though. There was no SOPs in place for health care workers in dealing with HIV/AIDS until 88.

In 1983, FDA inspection of blood collection facilities was reduced from annual to biannual. The FDA's workforce was downsized in the early 80s.

On Jan 5, 1988, the FDA began requiring AIDS antibody testing on donated blood, three years after the test became available

Egos and bigotry and money.

why krs

Thank you so much! Those links were nice, and now I know how to search. And I now know that Falwell was Reagan's de-facto Archbishop! Regarding obeyance...wouldn't have it been much easier to simply ignore my request if you found it so troublesome?

Unfortunately, by performing the "simplest search" that I am now capable of, I could not find any mention that former-President Reagan ever stated AIDS was God's punishment for gays.

Again, when I read just as he and his Republican cohorts said AIDS was God's punishment for gays, I assume (I do know what happens when I do that) that "he" is Reagan, and I (perhaps you and others do not, but I do) associate cohorts with Vice Pres, cabinet members, etc. Someone from the administration. I had never heard of someone from this ring utter such things.

Was the Republican Party & Reagan way behind in the AIDS situation, yes. I do not dispute that at all. But to say Reagan (again, the "he" claimed AIDS was God's punishment to gays, I had never heard that, and could not find it mentioned anywhere buy here. Perhaps he did say that, and I'm not aware (still) of it, and asked for something to substantiate it.

snowyegret Thank you for the link. I've read all 5 sections of it. A great learning piece. I was not aware of many things this site mentioned.

A president is unique in making a tacit agreement with his party doctrine by not standing against it as bush did with the claims of vandalism at the white house. Even though bush did not publically say that the case existed, by his non denial he agreed that there had been such instances and so was, through his cohorts, making the charge himself regardless his attempts at political expediency. I though everyone knew how that game is played, and would certainly expect that it such knowledge is as much as a requirement for advancement as a military officer, though it may be known by a different term.

It's odd that the Religious Right hasn't made a statement that Reagan's dementia is a punishment from god.

I wonder why that is ?

When it hit the press that Ron and Nancy used an astrologer to plot the affairs of the US, neither Falwell or Robertson "excommunicated" the Reagans from the Religious a*shole political movement. These "christians" still idolize Reagan the pagan.

It's all image to get votes and money. I used to get mad at the idiots that follow these cretians. However, I realized that Reagan, Falwell and Robertson use their images and rhetoric to fleece "christians" of their money and votes. Theses guys are just smarter than those that support them.

Robertson is now a multi-millionaire, after selling his "christian" broadcast system. Not one of his "followers" said a word, he pocketed the money and they are all suckers for sending him money every month. Even his family members got chunks of money.

Yeah- these guys are true followers of Jesus !
