Lets see, dimview reported a rate of 1.4% on May 17. On June 8 the rate was found to be 2.4%. Now, June 13, the rate remains at 2.4%.
Could the rate have leveled off at 2.4%? Flat growth already?
guess we will need a few more weeks of info to really know.
I did notice however that epiers pages of "items with bids" has declined over the last week or so, from a high number of 36, down to the current 24 ... not exactly sure why.

I am an eHammer advocate. My sell through rate is over 50%. The ehammer average sell through rate is 29%. Seems like too many people are caught up in quantity of listings.
The only number that REALLY matters is sell through. I go through page after page of epier, bidville and yahoo with zip happening as far as bids.
The ony problemm is ehammer is only antiques so it leaves non antiquers out

Exactly! Not all of us sell antiques. I sell collectibles--some things old, some things new, but hardly ever run across what I'd consider a true antique.

I don't know of any websites that have the information you're looking for. A search at Google (my favorite search engine) might turn up something if you're lucky.

dimview - I too have made note of this on epier. Seems to me that the problems started with the [vm] deal.
While a few hundred or so users couldn't wait to send in their $20.00, I feel many more packed up and set off for other pastures.
Epier managment rejected any FV fee, and suggested that sooner or later all users would be expected to become verified
The site continues to have minor performance issues also, none of whicn on their own are all that serious, but taken together can add up to fustration for the user.
Just a few weeks ago, I would have predicted epier to overtake yahoo within a few months. Now I'm not so sure... I really do think the [vm] thing and the way it was implemented soured a major segmemt (militaria sellers perhaps) of users on epier.
Quality of items listed, bidders and sellers that are building up good feedback reuptations, and a generally friendly atmosphere are all things that work in epiers favor. Maybe those factors will be enough on their own...

I can't speak for what's going on with others on ePier as I really can only keep track of myself and even then that's difficult, LOL.
During the last week I've closed two auctions with bids and have one now with a bidding war going on. My auctions at BidVille have been picking up some steam as well.
There was an announcement at ePier that they were experiencing a Denial of Service attack. This could account for at least part of the site problems at least during the last few days. Sometimes, though, the site is just plain slow and that's very frustrating to users.
