It's been a little slow at times but I can always get in with no problem.

Have you contacted "customer service?"

I was in early this morning with no problem, but from my own experience, BidVille really drags from late morning on.

Isn't this an old thread or are some having a problem getting in this morning?

The site is down EVERY night from 4 to 4:30 EST for maintenance. I don't know if that is what you encountered though. There are periods when "page not displayed" will pop up but usually not longer than 5 minutes.

Isn't this an old thread ...

Why, yes, now that I look it is an old thread.

I'm not having a problem logging in to Bidville.

Wonder if anyone else is?

Okay, well I did not check the dates. Dim, why did you bring up this old thread?

Apparently BV is taking longer to maintain now with all the new books .

I just got this message
"Bidville is unavailable from 4:00am to 5:00am EDT for daily server maintenance.
We will be back online shortly."

They did post a notice last week they might be down intermittently due to the lastest worm. I think that only lasted a day or two though.

Okay, well I did not check the dates.

That's quite alright. I hadn't expected folks to take note of the date.

Dim, why did you bring up this old thread?

I read Bidville's user agreement and only found two references to "suspend" and they relate to fraud and breach.

Dimview, I don't understand what you are saying. They only thing I do understand is that you avoided answering Deichen's question.

>>>>>>>"Okay, well I did not check the dates.

This makes it sound like you purposely brought this old thread up HOPING no one would look at the dates.

>>>>>"Dim, why did you bring up this old thread?

This answer apparently has nothing to do with the question. You get defensive if anyone claims you to be a basher, but I can see no other reason to resurrect this thread.

Might have more to do with it than you think.

dimview finds the fervor of an auctionsite's cheerleaders quite interesting.

Jimhhow,
I am still waiting in vain for the answer too! I think someone likes to stir the witch's pot! Boil, boil (oh, heck I can't remember the chant)!

Is this the line(s)?

Macbeth: Act 4, Scene 1

Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

The originator of this post was suspended months ago at Bidville. Yes! I think Bidville is very slow at times. More so than before. Hillbilly

In that case, Dimview may be making some accusations that dimview canot back up.

RichHillbilly,

Thank you.

jimhhow,

No accusations at all. The AuctionWatch archives are replete with the previous round of "cheerleading." I just find it very interesting ... the toil and then the trouble to borrow from Shakespere.

Sounds like an accusation to me. Veiled, but there all the same.

As I was the only person to reply to this thread when it was current! may I ask that this thread gets locked and/or deleted. There is no reason for this useless garbage to continue.
Thank You

I am going to lock this thread as it is disruptive to pull old threads up for no discernable reason.
