I had listed a very few items on epier a few months ago and completely forgot about them and the fact that I had listed them and today I received a bid notice ! However, now I will have to find the book! Kind of nice though. Good luck to all of you sellers on bidville and epier~ I might list more on both after my holiday! Suzanne

You really made a sale on ePier??? WOWWWW, CONGRATS!!! Maybe there's signs of life on that site after all!
I sold one item on that site 3 months ago, and never again. I thought bidders were boycotting the site or something!

Hey congrats. I am bladepusher there. We are thinking about having a 1 dollar sale also so maybe you will want to participate.
Right now I have 2 bids on things. So I think it might be picking up a little I sure hope so anyway.

As usual someone metions a new site and I'll take a look for kicks.
I was surprised to see several items that interested me in my catagory there.
None of them had any bids, so I registered and threw a few bids in.
Hang in there sellers and maybe the buyers will discover it.

Apparently they're allergic to advertising over on ePier. Probably fired the entire marketing department.

I checked again and though my auction has a bid~ a nice Trixie belden hardcover delux for a very cheap price~ I couldn't find my listing under the category. I find it hard to list though when the bids are so far and between. I buy a lot on bidville ( regency romance which I like to read) and some children's but have never had a bid . I think the problem for me and many sellers is that if an item will sell, one tends to put it on ebay in the hope of multiple bids~ to put it on epier or bidville and have it sit for months without a bid or have only 1 bid ~ as a seller I would want top dollar so I would probably price too high. I am hoping though that a site would emerge to take some of the action away from ebay and will continue to buy on other sites which is why I put on Trixie on for so low but I lose interest after a while when trying to make some money! I will try listing some other books after July.

I don't think they are allergic to advertising but I do think it is a money issue. I myself have wondered about the advertising. And I am still waiting for it. Hopefully it will happen soon.

As far as I know epier is the only site you don't have to browse a ton of categories to see what items have activity. They put it all under one handy link
http://epier.com/ItemBids.asp?0
I put about 75 items there a few months ago. I have sold about 20 but most were to my Yahoo customers I had emailed my link. I've never seen any advertising for the site, I heard about them here. Hopefully they have a plan to get their name out to the general public. I do get about 7 pageviews to every 1 at Bidville for the same items so they seem to have a lot more browsers at least.

I've had increasing sales at epier, started out slow now seems to be a regular hit several sales a week, not the volume i Have at ebay but better than Yahoo, a little work and epier will be locked into the number two spot as far as i'm concerend,
