Having tons of fun selling and buying with the $1 sale. Meeting a lot of nice people and just having a good time.
Sales are picking up, and I am getting so tired of all the downers that everybody has to throw out.
It's mindboggling how some people do nothing but find the negative in every site that comes along.
Gads life is too short for all this negativity.
There's room for more than one auction site, and I wish them all luck at getting sales and revenue.
I list at Y, E and B and have found B to be the most friendly of all, but get sales on all three...
Lets lighten up some folks.
Just this ol bitties opinion.

I agree !! Not everyone thinks the way we do though. I'm enjoying Bidville a lot. I tried several sites free and paying when yahoo announced they were going to charge and I have to say Bidville was the most user friendly and the one I got the most bids on. I had things listed at 4 of the "little" sites up until about a month ago. I did FAR better at Bidville than the others put together. I don't bash the others though... just stopped listing there and promote Bidville even more.

Last few days and I'm getting multi bids and people bidding on 4 /5 6 items. They are getting a deal on the items, and the shipping will be right in line, cause it can be combined.
I'm cleaning house without haveing a garage sale and having a lot of fun with it all.
I do hope I'm making a lot of new customers out of all this.
I am having FUN!!!!!!

I have to agree with you. I can be extremely realistic when looking at numbers and what possibly to expect in the future, but there's no need to be negative about all of it.
Reality shows me what to expect--no need to get down when I expect things not to be quite as good as they are at another time. That's part of life.
It has been an absolute blast seeing all of the excitement generated on BidVille's message boards about the sale we've been running. For the first time in as long as I've been there people were excited about their auctions--both what they were selling and what they were buying.
To me the auctions are about making some money, finding some great deals or hard to find item and having a great time in the process. And that's what I see happening at BidVille.

It's just getting better,on the $1 Sale. I'm getting tons of multi buys, buying more than a person normally would, knowing they can put the items all together in shipping, so the shipping costs are really becoming low for them. I figured well I would get just the ones I had, as far as buyers, but darn if the list of items doesn't get bigger as they keep saying one more lets get one more.
I'm cleaning house you might say, and also having a lot of fun doing it.
Also finding lots of deals for me.
I hope Bidville NEVER becomes an Ebay...
To list an item over there, has become a battle of nerves, and again if you don't list jsut the right thing, you are just throwing money down the drain.
Yahoo, is like a dead horse, list and list and don't get even a bid.
So I love my Bidville, and feel it's going to go someplace, just is.
ol bitties opinion again
By the way anybody reading the $1 Sale ends tom...

Hey its nice to see a positive bidville thread. I have done very well with the $1 sale but my other items have also been moving. I woke up to 13 new bids this morning and not one of them was a $1 sale they ranged from $3 to $10 so I am a happy camper lol. Have a nice buying/selling day.

I'm having a ball on Bidville right now.
Can't keep up with what I'm bidding on and what I'm selling, and it's fun. I really like the friendliness of all the dealers.
To heck with the numbers and the sell thru rate, on those negative threads. I can't see why anybody wants to waste their time with those numbers, what the heck does it really prove really.
I'm happy with my selling I don't expect to have them waiting in line for the goods, but know that it all takes time. And sell at a nice steady pace.
A little less negativity in the world and we might have a heck of a lot more fun.
