How do,

Dimview, do you do do listings for all sub-auction sites, or just the ones you like? Cause I haven;t seen anything from you regarding snaprat, eDeal, tbay, auctionweiser, haggle, or any of the smaller sub-auction sites.

Do you plan on giving us a variety of different sites?

JaysAuctions,

Allow me to answer for dimview

Dimview does statistics for many many of the Other Online Auctions, but he is kind enough not to dominate the board with them as he knows that not everyone enjoys thread after thread of statistics.

I'm sure he will take requests, as he has in the past but really, let's not go overboard.

dimview,

If you do decide to do stats on the above-mentioned sites, please keep them confined to one thread.

Hi,

For auctionsite statistics I have a marked preference for those that report their own tabulations (Bidville's weekly report and ePier's sales history), followed by those sites whose search engines make it possible to estimate total closed auctions and total closed auctions with bids (321Gone and SellYourItem, as examples). Unfortunately, there are others that do not report any numbers and have no means of estimating closed auction numbers, therefore no sell-through rate estimates can be made.

I report on those with posted statistics frequenlty, but most of the "other online auctions" have few listings so I don't report on them regularly, perhaps once a month (SnapRat on July 11, as an example).

I'll take a look at the other auctionsites you mentioned to see if they report numbers or if there's a way to estimate them.

How do,

I was just curious. I just think that it is fair for all "other" auction sites to get some word of mouth. It is entirely up to you if you choose to add anymore to your list or not. But I do think that the lists that you do are helpful for members like little old me.
