I have just noticed that gegy have put up there user agreement and would like to know what you think. Many of you have been at this a long time and know what to look out for, are there any hidden things that look funny to you.

I read it over last night. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. In fact it is probably the most honest one I have read.

There are a few things that are questionable about the privacy policy. Here are a few of the things I don't like:

Under section 3:
You agree that we may use personally identifiable information about you to improve our marketing and promotional efforts......
Then, under section 3 again:
You agree that we may use your information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as targeted banner advertisements, administrative notices, product offerings
Can you say spam? I do not like spam, Sam I am.

Then there is this little ditty:
4.5 Other Corporate Entities. We share much of our data, including personally identifiable information about you, with our subsidiaries and joint ventures that are committed to serving your online trading needs and related services, throughout the world......It is possible that Gegy, Inc., its subsidiaries, its joint ventures, or any combination of such, could merge with or be acquired by another business entity. Should such a combination occur, you should expect that Gegy, Inc. would share some or all of your information in order to continue to provide the service. You will receive notice of such event (to the extent it occurs) as provided in Section 11 and we will require that the new combined entity follow the practices disclosed in this Privacy Policy
Does anyone remember when a certain auction site, that shall remain nameless(per AW directive), bought out another auction chat site? If not, many found their user IDs added to the database without their permission.

pure garbage the ways they went about spamming.. a total waste of anyones time.
The only site I actually get ill thinking about even its name. Suckers are born or grow into becoming one, there are more than not in online auctions, so they will fall for the spam.
