Worked at a healthcare facility and one of the employees was the head engineer. He spent his days at work buying airplane parts and car parts for the two things he was building at his home. One day the president of the facility walked up behind him and watched him for quite a while, finally announced he was there and asked this person to step away from the computer. The facilities information systems director came down and removed three computers from this work area. As a result of what was found, this engineer was fired. Just a little interesting story to demonstrate that folks need to be aware of things when they are looking at auctions during work hours.

That's a fairly common ocurrence these days!
I hope the guy got enough parts to build his plane before he got axed so he can fly to another country and seek out new employment
Of course, the healthcare operation will probably claim the rights to his aircraft due to some "agreement" he signed when he was hired. Hope he included jet assist and maybe a couple of Sparrow launchers just in case ...

RB,
I believe they were glad to get rid of him. He was not a productive person. He ended up leaving the state and going further south for a six month construction job with one of the jobbers that he had hired at this healthcare facility. After that don't know what happened to him. Another interesting side note is that he wife still works at the facility in accounts payable! She prepares checks for several million dollars a year.
