Just saw a U-Bid / Pentium combined commercial during the WGC-NEC Invitational golf championship that my hubby is watching.
That had to cost some bucks. Anybody use U-Bid? It's one of those auctions I've heard of but never investigated.

Ubid is clearly the second best auction site on the web... behind eBay. The difference is that UBid basically does business to consumer transactions. Their probably changing this...as is eBay. A lot of major companies are now sellinh their merchandise on eBay. This must get the retail chains upset.
Anyway, every so often, credit cards list the most active credit card sites. I believe UBid is only behind Amazon and one or two others. If WallStreet would value UBid appropriately, CMGI sould be worth at least $10-15 a share.

Thanks for your reply daredevil2010.
I went over and checked it out, lots of new merchandise just like you said, many categories for computers and electronics. Interesting. I'll keep it in mind.

beware the shipping and handling of ubid can and did increase the cost of your merchandise 100-500%. also unlike other auction sites which discourage un-bidding, when a bid is placed on ubid it cannot be undone. you can return the item at your expense and be reimbursed your bid but not the s&h. be very aware.
