Seems to me that snuze.com has been down for a long time... anybody know the status of that site? Any word on what's happening?

Ditto with usellnbid.com

Just curious...

I haven't read anything. I think I put this one in the bone pile when I made my last update a few weeks ago.

It's always so sad to see the sites just disappear.

It is NOT so sad to see new auction sites disappear.. they most likely wasted users time and shouldn't have been on the www in the first place !! No new site that fails deserves pity! None, they are wrapped in camouflage.. this is not 1996 on the www it is 2001 and if you do not have the money or auction-online knowledge, you do not belong on the www, no if's and's and buts. Stop babying all these wannabees. They lure un-knowledeable users in with Hopes and dreams..
stay away.. many are private playgrounds by the owner/s who will take their sweet time doing any really significant and if they do, then duh?? stop being so gullible and never be lead on by waste of timers.

FBNeNotes ~ Why all of the negativity? You weren't like this on DutchBid's Chat Boards... before that site went under. You offered constructive advice and showed care and consideration in helping others. What happened?

p.s. the market will "weed out" the dot.com wannabees, with or without our comments. But just because eBay is no.1 now is not an indication of invulnerability. Look at the example of Montgomery Ward, which was a powerhouse in the Mail Order Catalog sector for much of the 20th Century... and is now gone.

After Conan O'Brien, what if snuze.com merged with bidville.com?

They'd then be snuzeville.com.

Anyone launching an online auctionsite should realize that they are in a sprint, not a marathon.

Snuze.com was sold to *id*ay.com (you fill in the stars) a few months back. Unfortunately, they let it die. (
