I think I have spent an hour this morning reading the posts on AW but I cant find a good answer. I have ALOT of books to sell. Some very unique, some very old, for kids and adults. Anyone know a good site to list these books to sell quickly?

Thanks ahead of time for your help.

To sell quickly, eBay. But only if they are titles that folks will clamour for. Do a "closed auction" search and see if they have come up for auction earlier and what the outcome was. Otherwise I'd just "inventory warehouse" them at a free auctionsite.

If you don't want to use eBay you might try eHammer for them or try listing the children's books at www.childrensbookauction.com

Best of luck to you!

If you need to sell them fast then i'm stumped as to where to recommend. But if you have the time then i'd suggest eHammer or one of the other antique oriented auction sites.

If you have any of the more current titles then let me suggest Half.com. Granted the competition is fierce but the sales have been very steady for me there.

Good luck!!

Maybe check out auctionweiser, edeal, or epier for those types of items. Deversify your product selection. ]]Berst of luck,

Thanks so much everyone for the great info. So far I have tried: ebay, bidville and epier. I have two of the hottest titles in new, never used condition on ebay. But the old ones have not sold. Thanks Dimview, I am trying your idea now on about a tenth of them. Wallypog, I have never heard of childrensbookauctions.com before? do they charge? Do you have experience with them? I dont want to diversify too much, I will forget what I have on which site (giggle) if you know what I mean.

I work two jobs. couple that with selling online and raising an energetic little guy by myself, well, you get the picture.

Try Amazon Marketplace. You can list your items off the same pages Amazon sells their brand new books, and Amazon has page listings for rare and out of date books. It's free to list on Amazon Marketplace and it has as good or better sell-through than Half.com. Amazon charges 99 cents plus a 15% FVFee for items that sell. You can also try Half.com if you want to give your books away for next to nothing. You tend to get better prices for books on Amazon Marketplace since it isn't as saturated as Half.com. Amazon also deletes your listings after a month, forcing you to relist, unlike Half.com where your listings remain for eternity or until they sell, whichever comes 1st.

You can also try BargainandHaggle.com. They appear to have over 700 Antique and Rare listings and you will make sales on that site. Maybe not as quick as eBay, but items will sell, and many times for much better prices than on eBay. It's free to list on the site, but they do take an approximately 5% FVFee.
