When I got an email from them, there was a PS that said they were expecting to be down one day! that was 3 - 4 days ago! I have emailed them since and have heard NOTHING from them. Does anyone have any news?

According to the post this afternoon on the Y! SZ, they have aquired the dedicated server and are waiting to be able to get into the old server to transfer off the data. They are hoping to have everything back up sometime today.
I apologize for these outages. It was completely out of our control, as we were sharing a server with several other websites. We have arranged for our own dedicated server, which will go live by tomorrow evening (we hope).
Then we must wait to migrate our database (which includes all of the 4,500+ items, irreplaceable data as far as we're concerned) from the old server to the new. Our old web host are being completely uncooperative with this, and we will probably be making several more international phone calls tomorrow. If we don't have our database by the time our new server is active, we will be investigating the possibility of legal action.
I apologize for not answering these posts earlier, but we've been on the phone most of the day, trying desperately to urge the process along. We worked very hard for our first two weeks trying to make something special, and we were shot down by someone else. We're going to work extra hard to make sure that we bounce back twice as strong, and I hope we can rebuild your trust level when we become operational again.

Pootah is BACK ON LINE! I was just "there",was able to log in and cruise a bit. Their home page hasn't been updated but they are up and running!
