Is it possible for you to supply the sell-through rate for the Sports card category? Been planning on listing some cards on SYI for awhile, and was just curious about that categories success. If it not possible, thanks anyway.
By the way, your presentation of the statistics without accompanying biased comments is much appreciated. I know that you are a big supporter of the site, but I'm glad you leave it to the reader to interpret the statistics as they wish. Thanks for treating us as intelligent adults capable of reaching our own opinions.

Unfortunately, I am unable to pull out sportscards only from the completed auctions. The number above in the current listings (933)represents the following categories:

There is no sort by category in the completed listings. For you to take a look at what has sold, go to the site map and click on completed auctions. Once the page has loaded, change the sort to bid count and descending for the order. Also, change the number per page to 625. That will give you ALL of the auctions that have ended in the last 30 days.
Since I'm not up on my sports, you could probably breeze through the listings faster than me and see what has sold. My guesstimate is about 200 of the items bid on were from the sports category.

Hello to Our Valued Community,
At approximately 12:00 AM EDT we will be taking SellYourItem.com offline for about 30 minutes. During this outage we will be performing system maintenance, sending invoices, and we will also be updating our auction software.
The updates to our software are as follows:
We have included an opt-out option for receiving SellYourItem.com newsletters during the registration process.
We have added "Ship to USA & Canada Only" in our Shipping Terms on the Sell Your Item Form.
We have added two additional e-mail options under the User tab in your MySYI page. These new options allow you to choose not to receive Auto Relist E-mails and Unsuccessful End of Auction E-mails.
We have also added a new feature called Anti-Snipe. Anti-Snipe is a feature that allows sellers to potentially stop snipers from grabbing an auction in the last second. By enabling this feature, during the listing process, if a bidder places a winning bid within the last minute of your auction, the auction will get extended for an additional five minutes. Thus allowing others to continue bidding.
Also, we have improved the functionality of our Account Status pages. Please take a second to familiarize yourself with these pages and please let us know if you have any questions.
As stated above SellYourItem.com will also be sending out invoices tonight. These invoices will cover all of your charges up till and including October 12, 2001. As stated earlier, all revenue collected from these invoices will be spent on ADVERTISING. Payments may be remitted by check, money order or PayPal.
