A friend of mine has a lot of comic books that he'd like to sell and I'm looking for a good niche site for them. I'd hate for them to get lost in a massive site like eBay or Bidville. Does anyone have any recomendations?
Also, I'm looking to sell a small airplane, but again, I have no idea of any good niche sites for aviation-related goods. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thirdly (I know I'm asking a lot) does anyone know any good niches for mason jars? I'd think Popula, but for some reason Popula hasn't been doing so well lately. I listed 140 items and sold three of them (all of which had been listed there before). Has anyone had any luck with JustGlass?

Bidville is one of the *last* auctionsites if you're expecting comic book sales. dimview is taking a category-by-category look at Bidville in the wake of their failure to provide overall weekly reports for five weeks. Just finished up the Comic Books category and it ain't pretty.

If I remember correctly, there is a site called Wizardworld.com that caters primarily to the gaming and comic book world.

Comic book sales is a tough catagory to sell in anywhere, But the small planes I think will do well on on ebay and yahoo..
When I first started selling I thought my niche would get lost on ebay in all the listings as well but for the last 18 months registering to sell at ebay was the best choice I made.

Hi, I also have lots of comic books, well over 50,000 and sell them on ePier.
I have sold about 120 this last month there from about 3000 listed. Gold, Silver, TV, Movie, Western, War sell the best with certain other nichs items also doing well. Modern comics are slow but are there as well!
You can check us out, all of my closed items have sold, because of ePier, even those with no bids (side sales area allowed). All you need pay on this site is the (on average) 2% FVF and no credit card is required (but they do prefer it!) to join. Currently there are well over 100,000 items listed, about 30,000 of them collectibles of one kind or another. Happy Auction selling, hope we see you at ePier!

I sell video games and consumber electronics on eDeal and Auctionweiser, and I have done surprisingly well on Auctionweiser within the last few weeks. I have about 150 - 200 auctions with them, and I sold about 20 auctions already. I also sell about 5 - 9 auctions a week on eDeal too.
